Aers' explanation is better. Also, its just one of the many displays of how dumb R2 is. How the fuck would he actually gain insight into someone's personality by doing something that dumb in chess? Shows that Lelouch is retarded for how he reacted to it as well. Echo and I have started watching Fafner, based on Southlight's recommendation. So far, I think our consensus is that we aren't impressed. I don't think its bad (yet), but... It feels like I have already watched this show, back when it was called Evangelion lol. Although, to be fair, this is Evangelion with a really bland, personality-less MC rather than Shinji (one of the worst MCs in the history of anime), so that is an improvement somewhat. | ||

I recommend Recorder to Randoseru to everyone. Such an awesome new 3min anime this winter. The only thing bad about it is that it is 3min....beside that it is awesome hahaha. Southlight should make a montage of the first episode :D Edit: Encase yall dont know Recorder to Randoseru is about a boy who looks old and matured but is really an elementary school kid and he has an older sister that is in high school but looks like a elementary schooler | ||

It's getting repetitive and if we are to rely on character personalities only then fafner is great because maya... but what makes it a bit different from evangelion is all this sentimental despair. | ||
