hey now, while that's a completely reasonable thing to say about me, I do generally only have bad things to say about anime Nana sings in. If she ends up singing every time they go into battle or something, I'll probably end up watching it every week just for that. I'm just hoping this doesn't become another Blood-C. good action with a sensible plot and I'll be satisfied. here's the PV for anyone interested. At least the fighting looks like it'll be pretty good. The biggest problem I see right now is how much yuri they put in...too much of it and Blast will be the one in love with this.

Everyone thinks the same thing lol. It shouldn't be nearly as interesting as it is, yet it's awesome.
When I am watching this series, I never feel that the story is moving too slow or too fast and I dont feel like any episode were wasted or were fillers. They did a good job of blending in the manga/anime references, tying in a cute love story and funny and interesting characters. I am surprise to see NO annoying characters. I though I was going to hate Eiji Niizuma but I ended up loving him lol. The way they portray him in the anime is awesome.

So I got up to Fairy Tail 41. And I gotta say, this anime has exceeded my expectations by A LOT.
The way they manage to tie in a plethora of characters and have them intertwine with each other successfuly through out the entire series is just amazing. I was so used to half-season animes that I didnt realize what a well paced anime could do to add quality development to characters.
The artwork is pretty decent too, not half bad imo. Way better than Shippuden. + Show Spoiler +

Yeah, I'm up to 90 or so, but haven't watched in awhile. I actually didn't like the show at all at the start, but it grew on me and now I really like the characters. It's nothing special by any means, but I do enjoy it.
The only problem I have with Fairy Tale is that....+ Show Spoiler +
No one ever fucking dies. After they fight, they all shake hand and be friends. It like wtf seriously? You were trying to kill me and my guild and after that we just shake hand and grab a smoothies? Sigh....it gives me headache some time when Gray is using ice magic and shooting spikes out and hitting people but they all just brush it aside....it like really? Shouldnt they be like dead or hurt?
I guess what I am trying to say is that the series is wayyy to shounen like. Atleast naruto or bleach people actually dies. So
beside that it pretty good if you can endure it. The plot pretty good, the fan service pretty good (nice body lucy!), comedy pretty good etc etc etc.

Nope. When bakenonogatari first came out my Japanese wasn't anywhere near my current level. I couldnt even read hitachi crab properly.

Its pretty run of the mill for shounen that's just a 100 something chapters in people dont start dying very quickly in the more popular ones, not even the ones you mentioned had people dying as much as they should. The fewer people that die in the ensemble the easier it is to keep the story running until you "have to" kill someone.
