Mashiroiro: Was good until some random character seizes victory from left field. Still, it's probably the most pretty eroge adaptation to come out in a long time. Is a fun ride, but... that ending!
Durarara: Deep, suffers from pacing issues during the first 2 arcs. In fact it drags horribly while it tries to set the stage. Then it comes together marvelously and is great, though the ending is quite open and makes you really want to check out the source material.
Minami-ke: Pure Comedic Gold. Disregard seasons 2 and 3. They were done by a different studio with inferior art and much less fun.

Mashirroiro (it's symphony right?) is meh. I wouldn't recommend it, since if you really wanted to watch something like that, watch Clannad or something.
I agree with the other two.

He said in the actual game, so I thought he meant a real one. My bad. These replies make me love this thread even more. n_n I already love this thread sooo much.
TLADT is my favorite place on the internet

So I'm still pretty tight with my family, and I was hanging out with my old man yesterday. We were trying to figure out what to watch, I suggested FMA:Brotherhood. He'd not watched an anime before, but we watched the live action Death Note movies together, which he liked.
It went well! I forgot that the first episode basically acts as a one shot and isn't entirely important to the story, but once it got rolling (we got to Fifth Laboratory), he really seemed into it.
Yeah, cool story, bro, but I'm just happy me and my dad have something new in common. Just thought I'd share :D

Arata Kangatari 113 + Show Spoiler +=P I kind of like this arc. finally Kannagi has gotten more back story development. He's been a pretty much a side character all this time, but he deserves so much more!

The feeling I got from DRRR!! is that it started out great and got gradually mediocre as the story progressed. The final arc was quite boring. And I don't recall it being particularly DEEP either.
Minami-ke S1 is ah-mazing.

Well like I said some pages back, DRRR suffers from the issue where the main trio sucks in comparison to the side characters, except with them being the lead we are forced to read about them. Baccano kinda suffered from the same problem except for that 1, characters there are somewhat better overall, 2, the main roles are distributed more thoroughly across the entire cast.
Meh, I still need to force myself to find vols 7~10 and read them, can't muster up the will for either.

Also almost every character in Baccano was fucking badass...

Miu route was good but when you do anime you do the main heroine! Miu isn't main heroine! /rage!
That's not Canon!!!!
It's like having a Clannad Anime with Tomoya ending with Tomoyo or Kyou, it just isn't right.

maybe because Airi is a random tsundere? I dont see anything special about her. I mean Miu is not really special either but it's a nice change of pace instead of getting a random tsundere every god damn time.
