I'm wondering something. On IRC, Shauni and Gaoxi are like "why do people hate Ciel??", while they are currently playing through it. Is this worse than people who are like "who is Akiha?", or other "Ive never played Tsukihime" type statements?

+ Show Spoiler [s;g 24] + tuturuu~ okae-rin!! XD I was slightly disappointed at the ending in that I knew how most of it was going to go. I was a bit disappointed at the fact that both were able to be saved instead of the cruel choice of one or the other, but at least it wasn't some random cop out that came out of nowhere and for no reason (if that makes any sense to anyone), so I was satisfied with how it ended.
I wasn't too worried about okarin dying or not. My thought was that he had to have lived in order to send that video from 15 years into the future back. When I think back now, I'm not sure if that actually could have happened, since he's now in the steins;gate world line where the plans for a time machine have been destroyed.
Overally I would still consider this the best of the season because there were no other series I can think of that made me count down the seconds to when it would be available to dl.

+ Show Spoiler +Movie will probably be just the anime condensed into a couple hours, since the VN isn't that huge. Most likely something similar to Unlimited Blade Works, except there won't be that many differences between anime and movie.

Well perhaps 24 was weak, I marathoned it the weekend before 24 and Im pretty sure I wouldve enjoyed it on a weekly basis but felt a littttle let down by 24. But it was a safe end so Im fine everything doesnt have to blow your mind at the climax to be good. It wasnt disappointing and it didnt try to outdo itself so yea better than anything else this season.
Frankly my only beef with it is hearing itou kanako would give me chaos;head horror flashbacks and worry's that resisting watching it might end up being a bummer.

She was kind of annoying at the start of the game actually...
Maybe that's why I stopped playing for a bit afterwards....

Ep 24 of s;g was good. It wasn't quite as mind-blowing as I kinda hoped, but it did the job, and I felt it did it very well. Nothing unnecessary happened, and everything that did made sense.
Now I'm gonna be super-sad unless I can find another series to follow that's almost as good.
I might rewatch it, though, just to get a clearer picture of s;g's treatment of time-travel, and how the plot comes together because of it. I think this sort of thing is the main problem with watching the eps a week apart.
Any suggestions for something else to watch? Other stuff from this season doesn't seem as good. I pretty much dropped No. 6, god's notebook, anime about Japanese girl in Paris, and anime with Manyuu clan slicing up bosoms.
Currently watching angel beats. Pretty good, but doesn't seem like it'll offer the same level of gratification as s;g. ;_;
