This very thread you're in is a good start. Also, School Days is a great anime to start off with. It's really deep and philosophical and makes you raise a lot of questions while still being very engaging and thoughtful. You really have to watch all the episodes to fully understand it. Even if in the middle you feel it's a little weird, keep going. Really well worth watching.
Truer words have never been spoken!

Streaming the Macross Frontier Concert....why does Nakajima Ai feel kinda....uncomfortable? like she seems like a nub next to May'n lol.
Edit: She is good by herself but definitely kinda falls to the background when May'n is singing right next to her lol
Well then again Sheryl is OP

Well then again Sheryl is OP You answered your own question. May'n too good, can't help but make others seem like a nub.

May'n isn't wearing as flashy as Ranka-chan lol and she stands out more because of her good voice

The last time this anime was recommended here I actually put it on my list of things to watch. Lurking, I hadn't been completely sure that I was being trolled...until now.

I found school days very enjoyable, at least the one part I watched of it :V

This has probably been asked like over 9000 times but, is there any anime similar to fairy tail or claymore or berzerk? Those are my absolute favorite 3, and I hate mech-animes so dont suggest anything with mech in it, only pure fantasy/magic
Thanks in advance!

noone is trolling here. School Days is a great anime to open up your mind to genres you might have missed out on so far. I cant denie that it is a controversial anime but you should none the less watch it even though you might not like it at the end. It will set a good foundation for future references.

Basilisk? Hellsing Ultimate OVAs? Gantz? Ga Rei Zero? Highschool of the dead (a bit more on the LOL/ecchi/facepalm side but gory nevertheless...)
Samurai 7? Samurai Champloo? Soul Eater? (almost fairy tail)

Seen basilisk, samurai champloo and soul eater (champloo has too much humour and too little fantasy imo, im a boring guy and I dont like humour in animes), all of them are decent but nowhere near the ones I mentioned imo
I'll check the others out though, thanks for the tips :D

Fantasy/Magic? theres only Madoka

Hunter x Hunter, Shaman King and Groove Adventure Rave are my last 3 suggestions. GAR is Fairy Tail Author's previous work. I know it's a manga that's long and complete, and I THINK there's an anime, but it doesn't cover the whole series.
Likewise HxH. The anime doesn't cover the full manga (since the manga isn't complete yet). I completely forgot how the SK anime went...
Katekyo Hitman Reborn might be more of a miss than a hit, but you might want to check it out... I'm enjoying the manga.

I don't think you can go wrong with HxH anime, one of my all time favorite shounen. For ending before the manga, I thought they did a really good job, although apparently a remake is coming out soon. Don't know what to think about that.
And if you do try KHR, note that the first ~20 episodes are lul gag comedy and only after that does the action start.

Highschool of the dead for fantasy and magic? 0_o I would recommend Puella Magi Madoka Magica if you're into magical girl animes.
So, I watched the ending of School Days on Blasterion's Guide to Harem, and I cannot get it out of my head. I haven't actually seen all of School Days, maybe a couple of random clips, but that ending is so traumatic/lolwut that it makes my WANT to see School Days.....And I don't even like School Days from what I've heard....but that ending is like making me want to see it.....

Thanks in advance! Escaflowne. Its about knights, dragons, swords, and medieval stuff.
Also, Break Blade (a bunch of wizards dig up an ancient sword that is far beyond their current magical power), Brain Powered, King Gainer, Blue Gender.... Code Geass (especially R2)... Gun x Sword is another good one.... Oh yeah, almost forgot about Top wo Nerae! Thats a classic.
