got bored this weekend and blazed through elfen lied. good anime overall but the ending was garbage. heard anime only covered half of the manga, so imma check that out after summer semester is over.
also saw girl who leapt through time (really enjoyed that one) and got 5cm per second que'd up in terms of movies.

Is Angel Beats really that good?
For me, the excess gore and nudity kind of ruined Elfen Lied for me. Or maybe I just wasn't paying attention to it that much.

Angel beats is decent. Some people don't like it, and some people do.

I was saying that half in jest (juxtaposed with Code Geass ).
Angel Beats was pretty good, in my opinion. A lot of the people here will say that it's sort of a generic slice of life/supernatural etc. It is, but I still thought it was pretty good. The little things were what got me, and I'm sort of sentimental too, e.g. the title actually has some significance and you find out in the ED that Angel and male lead are looking at each other when all of the characters flash away.

Angel Beat was not to bad. I think the ending was a fitting end but that just me.

I had a lot of friends tell me that Angel Beats was really bad, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Don't listen to Ferrose, Angel Beats is awesome. Watch Kampfer after that, they're both top-notch slice of life type anime.

I found Angel Beats to have been alright. It wasn't the best, but there were plot holes in the story that the director simply said, it's up to your imagination what happened or how it happened. Something along the lines of that.
