The ball on head game is canon, as is the captain fight, but I don't exactly remember who won which round for which price.

And if every single episode/arc had to in some way clearly advance the 'become Pirate King' dream it may start to feel more like a forced script that has to adhere to a strict path rather than the grand adventure it's supposed to be. So for the most part, One Piece filler doesn't bother me and is more or less welcome. It helps expand the world Oda created. | ||
