Arlong arc was the arc i enjoyed emotionally. Basically the best SH crew arc for me. So many great arc in one piece.
I just recently watched the Fishman Island Arc and man, I know its not one of the more liked arcs but its still a nice culmination of the whole Fishman v Human conflict that had been scattered throughout the series beforehand and the deep racial issues that it brings up.

to be honest it wasn't a really good arc at best it was mediocre .. sure the Fishman v Human conflict was portrayed okiesh but other than it wasn't really necessarily Oda quality arc.

You mean akainu ? if i remember correctly he was the only one who received point blank range quake from whitebeard.
Not surprising he didn't die he was barely even affected by the haki of whitebeard's subordinate. And whitebeards fruit should not hard counter akainu.
Everyone else i could remember died. Example the giant vice admiral he was smashed with just one hit .

the only ones who survived are the Logias because aparently admiral level Logias can make themselves literally untouchable

You can definitely use observation haki to dodge his ability, and you can knock out Foxy with conqueror's Haki, but Armament Haki... I'd assume you could protect yourself from it by coating yourself with it before contact, since doing so works against Law's fruit, and I have no reason to think the Noro Noro fruit works any differently.

Laws fruit cuts though
you could jsut coat yourself in haki before getting hit to guard against the follow up hits, getting hit by the fruit itself is harmless its what happens in the window
What about when Luffy was being lulled into submission by that Snow logia then he suddenly broke out of it in what seemed like a burst of Haki. Wouldn't surprise me if Luffy could do something similar to Foxys thing.

Interesting chapter, pretty good. I don't understand the Ishou's stance though. Hes like mad at the WG and wants to abolish the Schikibukai but lets Dofla do w/e even though theres clear evidence he deserves to lose his title.
