Hey! I started from Enies Lobby arc!
Because of youtube, I watch Zoro vs Kaku, then Rob Lucci vs Luffy & Sanji vs the wolf
From then on seeing how all of one piece character declare war against government, unleashing new power to defeat strong enemies. Hooked me up. And the jokes too, like Franky doing funny shit when fighting chppaman , and SOGEKING!
Ah....then, quality of anime went down.....

I just noticed this. Crocodile and Sanji have never met. Which is hilarious considering how Sanji talked to Crocodile on the Den Den Mushi. Furthermore, when Croc and Luffy met up in Impel Down, Croc agreed to help break out because he wanted to be free himself and also because Ivankov said that he knew Croc's "secret". At which point Croc did sort of lose his temper.
We don't know what this secret is, but it's true leverage on croc for sure. Now, Sanji has talked shit to Croc before, but they've never met. I think it's pretty certain that SHC will meet up with Croc eventually. At which point a very hilarious scene will follow as Luffy probably won't be aggressive against Croc and the rest of the crew, except Sanji (who will know Croc's secret because Ivankov probably told him) will be wtf @ that. Sanji will then tell Croc that he knows his secret from Ivankov and Croc will hate Sanji EVEN MORE because Sanji already shit talked him, out-smarted him and now even knows his secret. You can't say you disagree with me then agree with me lol. It's slow for the sake of slow because there's no narrative reason for it to be that slow, it doesn't mean there's no production reason for it. I know they do it to avoid catching up to the manga, but tbh I'd prefer they go the filler arc route (because the design of the world makes having filler islands really easy).

Pure conjecture, the story of Crocodile: Croco was once a woman, but went to Ivankov and got turned into a man to become more powerful in an attempt to become the pirate king. Got slapped down by Whitebeard anyways, lost his will and joined the Shichibukai based on past reputation. Then let his abilities go to waste in Alabasta since they were never good enough to overcome Whitebeard anyways, but looked into the possibility of awakening an ancient weapon, which may have given him enough power to defeat Whitebeard. Never found it, got beaten by a weak Luffy. Lost all will and allowed himself to be captured and sent to Impel Down. With the potential death of Whitebeard, he got excited about the possibilities for the future and asked Luffy to free him. With Whitebeard gone, he'll now get back into training and become very fearsome again.

What if Croc actually fell in love with Ivankov in his "fem mode"? But since Ivankov didn't want to fool him, he showed him his "true form". Which shocked him and hardened his heart.
Or that Croc was actually previously a Nakama on the island after a shipwreck and got stranded there. And he lived amongst them for a time and became/acted like one of them until he found his devil fruit which gave him the ability to leave and get his act together.
My guess. 2 would actually be a nice comedic twist for someone as serious as Croc. May Ivankov has photos of them in raunchy costumes and poses. haha! =)
