So I guess because we have fast pacing and a strong main plot, this scene doesn't feel nearly as important as it should. At least for me anyway. Also, I don't think there will be a Big Mom fight in this arc. I think Oda is saving that for the next arc when the crew will team up against Kaido - which will be the Oz fight from Thriller Park 2.0. Tl;dr #SanjiSucks2016-2017 | ||

look at the situations from a wider perspective. the main plot point for robins arc was cementing her status as a crew member. other things such as declaration of war on the world government, replacing merry with sunny and acquiring franky were side plots (though not any less significant). in sanjis arc, rescuing sanji isnt what oda wants to progress in the grand scheme of things, its the strawhats' relationship with other yonkous and more vaguely the ongoing similarities between luffy and roger. sanji is just a plot device for the bigger story | ||
