If this were a DND campaign without any safeties, the party would GTFO.
But, since this is a shonen manga, they will certainly stay.. and there is certainly be a big fight.

I dunno, never underestimate a party's ability to make suicidal choices at the most unlikely opportunities lol

that's just the typical story telling of Oda.
Oda always breaks up the story into multiple timelines, which is why the fight against Orz the giant was so amazing since everyone was in it in the same time

Probably not as bad if you read it all together instead of over a period of months like we had to do lol.

actually almost makes me want to re-read it to see

Yes I did that like three weeks ago and it came really even better than it first did reading it once a week.
For example, when you get to see Sanji nami brook and chopper leaving in the middle of the arc, and that you see them when they join Zou, it feels really smooth if you only let 30minutes pass (the time to read the chapters) compared to when you let 3 years pass.
|
that's why it's always good to read again when the volumes are out, it's ways smoother

i read dressrosa again, and it made me hate the arc even more its the worst arc in my opinion ever in one piece. Fishman was better then dressrosa. I even lost hope in one piece after dressrosa arc. But now ive regained my trust in oda since i think it has continued good afterwards

What didn't you like about it?

many things but mostly it was way to dragged out. I just got bored. I absolutely hated the birdcage too that was the most stupid thing ever in one piece. Many more stupid things like sabo is basicly 100% the new ace now. Thats just stupid ace was a way better character then sabo anyway so its just a stupid replacement. The admiral did nothing too all arc which doesnt make any sense. Evrething about the arc is just terrible and stupid. There are probably many more reasons to disslike dressrosa im forgetting right now but overall worst arc ever in my opinion.

I agree with you on the stupidity of Sabo basically being Ace lite and not his own character and about the pacing/dragging out of the arc but I don't know if you could consider it the worst arc by a long shot.
The thing about Dressrosa is that we still haven't seen how the arc is going to impact the overall story. We can see hints of how Doflamingo's defeat impacts the other Yonku so far, but I feel like the ramifications of Dressrosa are going to turn out to be a lot greater than that. All of the different plot threads that Oda squeezed into the arc will all impact the world, given time. It was the "exposition" arc that was needed for the New World before we got to the real meat - Yonku, raftel, reverie, big war. So I like to think of it as a really big appetizer.

I'll give the pacing being bad and the bird cage might have been the single dumbest thing in One Piece history. But I don't see Sabo being like an Ace replacement as a bad thing, not to mention what he adds to the story, tying in the revolutionaries to the story more is a great addition in my opinion.
Dressrosa had its fault but it also had some amazing moments in it as well. Franky v Senor Pink, Zoro slashing the shit out of Pica, Gear 4th etc, Law backstory with Corazon etc.. Not to mention like Hyperbola said the implications of the arc are just starting to show, from a world building stand point the arc was good in my humble opinion. But the pacing was garbage and the bird cage + Rebecca kills all joy that might have been found.
So I'd say its not the worst but its far from the best obviously.

Aw damn I was so close to wiping Rebecca from my memory. What a waste of a character.
|
Remember all the people who used to ship Rebecca as joining the crew? lol

regardless of plot repurcussions that doesnt really make it a better arc
