For all we know the Revolutionaries spotted Burgess, beat him up and interrogated him, realized their base was discovered, destroyed it and moved out. The fact that Blackbeard's crew decisively defeated Marco's is pretty impressive though. | ||

I'm leaning to believe that Revolutionary lost or at least got the short end of the stick from the battle but managed to escape or not get chased by the Yonkou's for some reason. They probably managed to flee. As how BB seems like dumb sometimes he's a pretty clever scheming dude and is incredibly powerful (he was already mentioned by shanks to be strong even before he got the yami yami and gura gura ), both his fruits are broken as fuck. So i really doubt revolutionaries won and pretended to be destroyed. It's even possible that BB might be the most powerful yonkou atm, maybe not as the yonkou himself but with the power of his crew, territory, potential etc. Also he has Aokiji with him now, i don't think aokiji is gonna betray him soon. | ||

Also, while up until this point we've been really running down the steps in terms of pacing it seems like now we've slipped and landed at the bottom of the staircase. We've gone from: Giant slow paced arc -> Zou mini arc -> location of One Piece -> Kaido and Big Mom war -> Reverie -> Baltigo and Blackbeard fight. Dressrosa may very well have been the last standard arc. It seems like we've actually entered the end game now. This is the beginning of the end here, folks. It's going to be one giant clusterfuck of events until the final battle. Edit: Also, in regards to the revolutionary fight... it's really drawn them out of the shadows and forced their hand. Up until now it's been a waiting game with Dragon planning whatever his master plan is. Now, they're all out in the open. The government will take direct action against them and we'll get to see the actual power of the revolutionary army. | ||
