We need more Sanji plz ;/ It makes sense that demotion would occur. The new world is so badass that even the logia marine that caused the strawhats so much grief before is just another one of many now. I agree with this. It seems like Logia's are kind of Meh in the new world. In the first half of grand line they rule like kings because so few people have Haki. But in the new world, where every crew has at least one or two people with haki, it seems like paramecia are the strongest fruit type to have. until admiral level when haki doesnt seem to work anymore
Seems like the admirals are strong because they are Logia + strong haki. Sabo is prolly going to be a monster now that he has joined those ranks.

I wouldn't worry about Smoker too much. Hes a popular, reoccuring character. There is nothing to say he won't get stronger, like what many other characters have over the course of the series. Hell, even Smoker is stronger now than he was back at Loguetown. He won't ever be a chief antagonist again, though.

see that's the thing that bothers me. the notion of someone start chasing you all the way from the beginning of your adventure up until the very end, and always a close encounter is such a cool story. It's like Gary in Pokemon.

Well you see... that's the point. The 2 YEARS skip has already occured, he's either strong or weak, won't change much. HE'S WEAK AS FK. He doesn't have a place in the manga and can only fill up pages because he's popular which is stupid.

You people are crazy if you think hes "weak as fuck". His battle with Law showed hes like one step down from Law. So if Smoker=Weak as fuck, then that necessitates Law=Weak. Which is complete bullshit. Losing to two different Shichibukai, one of which is after he had already been exhausted from several battles against Law and Vergo, does not make someone "weak as fuck". Its like saying Luffy is weak because he needed help to be Doflamingo, or Law is weak since he spent almost all of Dressrosa getting kicked around by Doflamingo.

Does this make me the only one here that thinks Shanks might lose to the alliance.
Kid's crew is set up with parallel's to Luffy's crew. Other than zoro Killer was the only pretime skip crew member to be in the over 100,000,000 club and on top of that he is a swordsman.
I think what is gonna happen eventually is that hawkins and on air pirates are going to just barely hold off Shank's allies (maybe get killed or defeated in the process) and the Kid pirates will defeat Shank's crew although it will be a close fight.
And there is still Blackbeard who we know wants to defeat Shanks. At marineford he says something along the lines of its not yet time for us to fight. So maybe the kid alliance gets there and blackbeard beats them to the punch.
Let the hate replies begin, but remember only time will tell.

People are hyping up Sabo too much lol. Is he even stronger than Luffy? Luffy in G4 was a beast. Doffy couldn't even do anything to him..

The one thing I don't like about G4 is that it apparently has a timelimit.
When G2 was introduced it didn't have a timelimit in fact he was already too tierd to supposedly use it again but then activated it again through sheer willpower the ability of course suffered and was not as powerful the longer he pushed through but still.
Now maybe he will be able to that with G4 in the future but now it just seems like using it is just a gamble. Either I win in the timelimit I have or I lose.

it actually did have a time limit, G2 was originally quite taxing on luffy's stamina. as lucci said, it's like steriods, where luffy can convert stamina into combat power more quickly in g2

Yes G2 was very taxing on him but in that very same fight he pushed through that boundry and held it longer than he should of been able to.
His willpower was effectively able to push past the "timelimit."
But with G4 it seems to me that he isn't capable of pushing him self past his limit with it and he's been able to use it for half a year at least.

The world government might suspect him of befriending and helping the pirates and so could remove him from marine ranks and then arrest him. I don't think it is likely smoker would join the strawhats (due to his hatred of pirates, but after the dressrosa ordeal, smoker would very probably have a great deal of respect for the strawhats), but with his rank he would have a lot of valuable information on the marines and world government, for example he might have a role in the revolutionaries. He could also go down the Kuzan route.

Not the only one who thinks that at all! Personally, I can only see two ways the kidd alliance can go
a) Killing Shanks and becoming a huge emotional motivator for luffy in terms of plot,
OR (and in my opinion less likely)
b) Luffy and Law finding out about their plans and Luffy being forced to intervene
Kidd has not been hyped up as a rival to luffy with all the mirrors just to get smashed by shanks.
I agree in terms of lore, shanks is > than Kidd, but for plot purposes, i just cant see it gonig down that way, IMO R.I.P shanks soon to come

Well you see, SH and Law beat Doflamingo, they are not yet at Kaido yet. Maybe the Alliance will get smashed and the story progresses differently. It's all possible.

i dont really see any plot reason for them to suceed, they dont really seem like there gonna be "villains" in the story, TBH it seems wierd to me that there targetting Shanks though and makes me think someone might be behind this alliance
