Ichigo as a character, never grew at ALL ever since the original soul society arc. He has defeated his inner demon hollow ichigo, gain fullbring power, regain shinigami power and refix his bankai to not matter it all. We basically went full circle and back to where he started. Now here a crazy theory, what if everything in Bleach is a filler? :O | ||

I mean all that foreboding with Kyoraku giving Ichigo's friends tickets to see him one last time because "he wouldn't be able to come back to the real world after this" hinted towards Ichigo ascending to a GOD like being... which is lame, but understandable and completely along plot lines... for example, look at the soul king, parts of him are shinigami and parts of him are quincy.. it could stand to reason that Ichigo has the POTENTIAL to host the soul king if not BEING the soul king. ACTUALLY, there are so many ways Kubo could have filled millions of panels and created greater depth in his characters to lead to a better ending rather than wasting 200 chapters going through letters of the alphabet and drawing splashes of black paint and feet everywhere. | ||
