I like his Bankai. His Shikai is children playing, his Bankai is adults playing (in a theatre play, granted, but they are "playing"). | ||

The second part is if someone receives an injury and starts thinking "omg I am injured so I could be more injured later" and starts thinking about what kind of other injuries they could receive then those are made real themselves; leading to a snowball effect. Those are not reflected because the one sufferig those injuries is inflicting them to himself basically. The third is whoever leaks out his reiatsu first dies, but if you are constantly getting inured your reiatsu is supposed to plummet so it works with the two other ones. So you must have an incredibly strong mind to not take more damage than necessary from step 2. You must have more reiatsu than kyoraku to survive step 3. All while having to defeat him in a single blow because of step 1. So it really does sounds like a imba bankai that can't really be used in the presence of allies but could take on any number of enemies at the same time. | ||

Shunshui takes damage. Then he activates bankai step 1 and reflects X damage Then he activates bankai step 2 and the enemy takes X*Y damage (pretty sure everyone except maybe Zaraki and some batshit crazy people care about how much damage is done to them, and the effect only compounds. It's actually an interesting parallel to his "you can't track me because of my afterimage thing", taking advantage of his opponent's battle knowledge) Then he activates bankai step 3 and both of them start leaking hitpoints So either the enemy has to be able to one-shot Shunshui to prevent him from using his Bankai, or be tanky AF to survive it. The first scenario aint gonna happen because Kubo loves his Calvinball sequence and no one ever wins outright right away. Anyways, a suicide bankai is a nice way of taking Shunshui out of the picture along with a really strong bad gu. | ||
