Ukitakes Bankai let's him switch pysical conditions with a target. His Shikai can already absorb Reishi in form of attacks, maybe his Bankai can absorb Reishi as a whole. My guess is that he's sick because he switched his health with someone important to him and not as strong as him who would have died from the disease otherwise. So I suppose he could switch with the Soulking resulting in himself dying and the King getting a cough ^^ | ||
