I'm pretty sure that's the implication of his powers. As in he sees far enough into the future that he can plan a counter to anything the opponent does. And because everyone is so meta, that person never uses the move that would get countered in the first place. I guess?
I really want to like Bleach still, there's a reason I've been following it up until now, but it's getting so hard to find anything redeemable in the writing these days. Even the art is petering out, 75% of chapters now are blank space or a close up. It's sad.

Sad one of the best characters in the series died alrdy. RIP monk guy, don't even remember his name...

That also requires him to be very smart and quick-thinking on his feet has even if he instantly sees everything once he opens his "eyes", he still has to devise the counter with all the info he receives, and do it before he kicks the bucket. The power in itself has a big potential and would make someone invulnerable on paper, even to surprise attacks, but it'd still require qualities from the user (kinda how Luffy's power in One Piece owes a bunch to the creativity he exhibited with it before receiving a bunch of power-ups).

I am curious since I am basing it off a translation but would seeing everything in the future (like abilities going to be used) mean that Ywach figures out how it is used/activated/manipulated?
I am just speculating because it might be the difficulty in translating the intention but bare with me for a moment.
Since he is "THE ALMIGHTY" would that imply his powers sort of have omnipotence basically with a parallel that can be drawn to some of the infinity gems (when combined with the gaunlet in the comics) powers?
So he sees any and all possible futures of the fight and any and all techniques his opponents use. He also is able to learn how to master/use their own abilities against them or just not bother with it as the attack is insignificant in any form of damage it can cause him.
Because the translation I read over mangareader sort of mentions he also managed to "master darkness" like the monk dude hence why him drinking the darkness fluid ended up causing his own explosion from the inside as Ywach basically blew it up from inside him. That's what I think.
That's the only way I can try and make a bit of sense out of it, but also makes a bit more question arise as to how his is able to use shinigami powers/master them without their swords/bankai/shikai like his own underlings who needed to "Steal" it from shinigamis. But that's another ball I don't want to think of right now. hehe!

Kubo is obviously a genius because he knows his manga will sell the same number of copies even if he pours his soul and creativity(if he has any) or just do his own black/white backgrounds into throwing random shit like he has done for years. I'm under the impression that Kubo has wanted to quit for a long time too but the editor has basically enslaved him to milk that cash cow dry. So yeah, blame the Japanese fans who won't stop buying Bleach stuff but it is the manga editor that is your exploitative capitalist master IMO.
Edit: it is funny to imagine if Kubo is the big baddie here and the editor is begging him weekly to stop drawing but they have to print it because he's still selling. Like the editor tells him "you just wiped your ass with this paper, we can't publish that as a frame" and Kubo imperiously slaps him and forces him to put it in the scanner. And the editor breaks out in a cold sweat when he gets the sales numbers and it turns out Japanese fans love this shit.

I mean okay the story might be shitty but i love the art so much.

Yea I wish I could draw half as good as Kubo. As for the current story I think my dog could come up with something better.

Wow, I've never actually thought about that. What if he's making the plot, abilities, characters, etc. so obviously terrible so that he can quit?

there's got to be hundreds of "help" messages beneath all that black ink by now.

Kubo never wanted to write Bleach past the Ryoka Invasion. It was supposed to end at that point, but the series became too popular to quit.

Past the Ryoka invasion?? That's super early though, I think Bleach was damn good up until the end of Aizen.

Nah, Bleach was One Piece material til the end of the SS arc, after that it was shit, tho the Arancar arc was ok if you read it in one go. Then the SoulBringer stuff was totally shit, and now it's just a big troll.

Bleach was fine to me up until the end of Aizen personally. It had a slower start though than One Piece, things only started really picking up once Rukia was taken in by Byakuya and Renji.

That's what he claimed in an interview. It certainly appears to correlate with the quality of the series over time. SS arc was the one that was most clearly polished and planned out.
