The art wasn't even worth the ink used in this chapter. And Kubo's usually praised for his art, right?

A single chapter of Bleach is added each week. Each individual chapter does not further the plot. When the process is repeated manyfold times, at which point can it be considered that the plot has moved?

I don't care about simple art if the story has a lot going for it, and on the other side, a manga with a lacking story can still be popular if it has cool art, happens all the time. I think Kubo's getting lazy, pushing stuff out just because it gets the reads. It's seen better days.

The main reasons people like Bleach art is because it's : A. Very clean, it's not messy like Attack on titan or to a lesser extent Naruto. B. The characters are stylish, especially the bad guys. Unfortunately, Kubo can't seem to draw more than 2-3 different faces and most characters end up looking very alike except for hair style and color. However, Bleach art is also very limited when it comes to movement and fights. If you look at mangas like Hunter x Hunter (which is messy as fuck), Attack on titan or Eyeshield 21, you can feel the characters moving, in Bleach it always look like the people fighting are taking different poses for a camera, each picture being separated by a random white or black flash. Watching the anime is actually funny because the intensity of fights is much greater in it than the manga.

I'm gonna argue that, even in the anime sometimes, it looks like both people are merely hand puppets, but there's only 1 dude controlling them, and he has to quickly move back and forth between the puppets. It gets bad sometimes.
