While i don't think it is as good as spirited away or princess mononoke it's still an extremely well made movie. It's about a boy living in tokyo and a girl living in some small town near the metropolis. They change bodies from time to time, not because they want to but because it just so happens. Starts off as more of a comedic feel good movie, gets a lot of emotional impact throughout though. The animation is beautiful, the characters are well crafted and the music is great as well. Anybody who likes well made anime movies like the already metioned Hayao Miyazaki ones should give this a try. 8.5/10 | ||

That ending was so satisfying, like a really bittersweet "fuck you" moment which tied all together. Going to watch Logan this weekend. The Johnny Cash's hurt song on the trailer made me do it. | ||

I'd say he's the second most internationally renowned Anime film director/animator after Miyazaki, and has been for a while. I guess minor warning that his first few films are almost entirely emotional gut punches (in a good way). (Also his first film, Voices of a Distant Star, was animated entirely by himself) | ||

Logan is on a whole next level. The whole father daughter relationship is very much like the one in the last of us (ps4 game) I think the ending in the last of us is far more powerful but since the movie version may never be made, this is as close as it gets. I also loved the occasional 4th wall breaking scenes. | ||

To do that she leaves her current girl group. Not every fan is happy, she has to deal with unromantic realities of the film business and the line between reality and illusion begin to blur. Another very good anime movie! (yes i am watching these atm  ) Kinda sad i saw the western version of that concept first (black swan) so i wasn't as impressed by it as i should have been, but it's the better version i think. (not by much, i like black swan quite a bit as well) 8.5/10 | ||

I enjoyed the film. I'm not really into old movies but I enjoyed the dialogue in the movie given that it's all dialogue all through out. The characters are very diverse and the plot was interesting. The protagonist feels a bit OP though so his deduction isn't that impressive. 7.5/10 for me | ||
