In any case, there's a dead character (a member of the Kingsguard during Robert's Rebellion) that's basically considered the best fighter in the stoy. Barristan, Robert and maybe Jaime at their primes would probably get close.

Khal is a title and not a name. Hence Dany became Khaleesi when she married Drogo.

First chick in the show that actually made me go, "DAMN", when they got naked. All the other "whores" haven't really done anything for me tbh. Just no I'm sorry but I fear we have very different tastes in women, you seem to favour the ... broader shouldered types ahahaha

Jon and John are completely different names with different origins. Jon is a shortening of Jonathan, from Hebrew Yehonathan, shortened to Yonathan, meaning "God has given." John is from the Hebrew Y'hohanan, shortened to Yohanan, meaning "God has favored." That said, yes, we clearly need a new episode.

Well, I suppose in that case I'm speaking more to the idea of the character of Brienne rather than the reality presented in the actress they chose to portray her. ![]()

Something about the relationship being explored in that scene, plus her being one of the more innocent/virginal women on the show. Anyway, I am just impressed with Brienne in general. You wouldn't expect a naive, idealistic char to be anything more than fodder in this series, yet she manages to be interesting. When she stood up at that moment, there was true steel shining through her ugly duck exterior. Jaime was right to be ashamed.

I think Eddard Stark was tier 1 tbh... You could see it in Jaime's face when they were in combat before his leg got stabbed that he felt he bit more off then he could chew, Barristan himself praised his fighting. The difference is Eddard is extremely modest but I fear he was probably one of the best swordsmen the 7 kingdoms ever saw. Also, from the tales in the HBO back stories and in the show, it sounded like Robert was one of the strongest warriors (taking down Raegar) also but maybe not tier 1.

Killing Rhaegar with a giant war hammer certainly weighs more heavily than riding against someone in a tourney...

Is that what the tiers meant? I thought it was for best fighters in westeros (or rather game of thrones)
