It looked scary because it was in a dark wood and the White Walker was barely visible, no they were not giant in episode 1.

I dont know, I tend to agree. The first one looks way scarier. This one looked more like a friendly winter fairy than an evil creature bent on human destruction.

The only part I didn't like about this episode is knowing I won't see another one for a year. This show is just brilliant and introduced me to the books, it's like Lord of the Rings' little brother, with more sex and plotting and blood. HBO is just killing it these days.

That ending was so damn amazing, I hope that HBO doesnt delay the next season even by a little because of all that CGI. I don't think that White Walkers are supposed to be that scary tbh since they used to be human beings. lol for a second though, that dude on the horse reminded me of gandalf hahaha!!

Imho there were way too many storylines in this season; They barely have enough time to swiftly touch upon the most important characters. Yet still they manage to spend so much time on unimportant scenes like that talk between the dickless man and little finger's fav prostitute. This has been the case for me throughout this season. I find myself bored by the often unnecessary and often not very interesting dialogues dragging out endlessly. Disappointing. I liked the end scene with that undead horse and the scary guy riding the horse. It was an effective ending for keeping viewers interested; too bad this show never even remotely lives up to its cliffhangers. But thats just me. Im glad others seem to have enjoyed this season. I just feel...unsatisfied.

Technically, youre watching "Game of Thrones" it is mostly about dialogue, characters, and the intricacy of politics set in a medievaly world with dragons n snow monsters.

I'm glad your so well versed on the story of an unfinished epic you can let us all know which story lines are importnat and which aren't. I can't wait until the next season beings so you can be there to tell us which segments we should really pay attention to.
All joking aside, I do half agree with you that a lot of the stuff covered this season seems unimportant, but I think we at least gotta let the series play out before we start making judgements.

I dont get this, Robb's men were waiting outside Winterfell preparing to attack right? How come in the next scene everything was burnt down and Robb's men were no where to be seen?
