Sam thinks and knows that Jon is legitimate bastard of Ned Stark and that's all, he knows nothing about Rhaegar/Lyanna connection which resulted Jon's birth. Such small plot may be played around lately. Oh and where's Jon's direwolf? It shows that Ghost will be showing up in this season, probably next episode?

(Reading the wiki of Ghost seems like they've made Jon protective of ghost and he doesn't want to use him in battle or put him as risk so he can be off camera all the time)

I do think its funny because Dany seems super into him, which is a change for her character, who never really seemed into any dude beyond politics. She was totally into captain Bluebeard.

I bet it is a lot harder to make them look convincing, since they are among the moving actors. The dragons fly around in the easily composited sky. I still wish they would have an establishing shot of Ghost in Winterfell, chilling. Maybe being fed by Arya.

I wish they were as prevalent in the show, but I understand why they are not. The imagery is really striking in all the art surrounding GoT when we only had the books. The CCG, LCG and super cool board game all had amazing art for the Starks and their wolves.

Provided that they all find out he is one, but I don't think that's too far away from happening. This hasn't been spelled out exactly in the TV show. But Robert Baratheon's grandmother was Rahelle Targaryen on his father's side. So Gendry has Targaryen blood. (hence the blood magic that was done with him a couple season back)

Princess Rhaelle Targaryen was the youngest child of King Aegon V Targaryen and Queen Betha Blackwood. She was married to Lord Ormund Baratheon of Storm's End. All Baratheon's had some Targaryen Blood. Including Gendry. *Which is why he'll (probably) become the Valyrian Steel forgemaster, or (possibly) the 3rd dragon rider.

Then they aired the season and everyone hated it, so they simply rewrote everything and cut Dorne out completely. I didn't even think they would show us any sandsnakes in season 7, i thought they would simply drop them and hope noone notices. The same way we got one sentence explaining the dorne situation after Ellaria was captured. "We lost 2 allies." Okay. Just go with it, allright. It would be morbidly hilarious if the final shots of the series (after Cersei is defeated/Night King slain/etc.) are just of Ellaria sitting in that dungeon sobbing at her daughter's corpse because nobody cared enough to free her.

Also i dont get the logic of Sam leaving the citadel. If the books he steals contain the informations he was looking for woudnt it be much more efficent to read them and send a raven? And if not why is he leaving then? I really hope Johns Allstar team makes up for a, at least for me, dissapointing season.

So he's been dead since Season 2 and being of a different religion they never got another one.
