And they haven't done that. Not only does Cersei bring nothing to any alliance against the dead, she's probably more destructive as an ally than as an enemy. But after you burn down Kings landing, how do you get the rest of the 7 kingdoms to fight the undead? I don't think the threat of burning alive is going to convince people to join up. 1) What 7 kingdoms? Until two episodes ago Cersei only had the Lannisters. Even now she just has Lannister + part of the Reach. 2) Blowing up the Sept seemed to work for Cersei to get everyone behind her. She's not a nominal Baratheon unlike Tommen. She's just the lady with the power to burn shit down. Burning the Red Keep down would 110% work.

She would do something stupid like go to war with the north or just be murdered. I don't think burning down has late game potential. It's a filthy, two base Protoss timing. Edit: I liked the arya/Sansa scene. I'm glad that they are now downplay that Arya murdered like +40 people. She sees it as the solution to lots of problems.

Well I mean once people are under the threat of dying by undead, they unite and fight together, no need to burn people. Except that's much easier to do if there isn't a mad, power-hungry, revenge-seeking and psychologically unstable queen ready to put a dagger in your back at the worst possible time.

I thought Dany and Jon would do their song of ice and fire in bed and then fly to the Wall on dragons together after seeing last weeks preview, pretty disappointed ![]() Arya got played like a fiddle. Perhaps Littlefinger has experience with hiring faceless ones and recognized her movements.

This whole plan of capturing a dead man and then showing it to Cersei is completely pointless to me. They don't need Lannister's army to defead the dead... They have 3 F-35s and the army of the dead are just walking zombies. Even one will deal with them just fine. Pretty weak episode.

I also was not 100% expecting Arya's suspects against Sansa (that she hopes to claim power if John does not return): I am not sure if it's mostly Arya's fantasy or if there's something there.. very cool anyway that the Starks (which should be the "good" ones) have as much plotting and distrusts (if not more!) than other houses..! I'm not fully convinced of the plan to show a zombie to Cersei, but I'm also not sure how the Cersei / Jamie dynamic will evolve now.. too bad this season is so short!

I think the fact that are three dragons should imply that at least one of them will be killed//go rogue/turn against the others etc at some point. At least thats what usually happens when you introduce several characters who initially have the same agenda in most movies/series. Honestly, I'm surprised it hasnt happened by now. And then another will serve another purpose such as as mount for jon (thats pretty clear by how the dragon was naturally "sympathetic" to Jon). Maybe the dragons will be a happy family by the end of the series but there has be some kind of conflict involving them, they cannot be just tools/weapons for all of the series. Otherwise I would be disappointed.

Gendry sporting a war hammer is only fitting since that was Robert's weapon of choice as well. Give me the fanservice fam. I dont care about Dany's bad acting, boat teleporting or Littlefinger's insignificant role in the story anymore.

We have the confirmation that Jon isn't a bastard and should be the King of Westeros... but I doubt anyone will know about that anyway. Even Sam had no idea what she was talking about (or didn't even listen) The idea to capture an undead to bring it to Cersei doesn't sound like a good plan at all. Even if she hadn't the undead Mountain, I don't think she would see that as a threat, especially so far in the south at King's Landing And burning Lord alive... yeah, not crazy at all. They loved her father so much after all
