It's hard for me to feel that way too. Jaime and Bronn are easily at the top of my favorite characters in the entire show along with Tyrion. But like I can't handle any of the dragons dying, just something about animals as someone else has said.

I don't like the transformation Bran went through. Too drastic and too quick. Also, Dany and Missandei gossiping like a couple of teenagers was bad.

But the battle made more than up for it. Probably the single battle I've enjoyed the most. I genuinely felt like either Jamie, Bronn or Drogon were going to die.

#Rootfordragons, seriously, good episode, the battle was nice to see, and three dragons + Dothrakis can kill an entire army in minutes, I dont know what to think about Arya and Bran reunion, at least he didnt tell her: I saw when you were beaten in a cell, and blah, blah.

I'm pretty sure the populace in general would be somewhat equally horrified regardless of who gets burned, civilian or a soldier, point being it's people being burned alive by horrible monsters.

Well yeah, but if the soldiers get burned, people know that it won't happen to them unless they rebel, while if it's random civilians getting burned, it sends the signal that anyone can die at any moment for no reason. Kind of like terrorism/guerilla targeting soldiers/policemen only vs targeting random people.

The battle was really good, although strategically lacking. I also don't really understand why did Dany decide to burn the wagons ? Like, it was food, and surely Dothrakis and their horses need food ?

The soldiers falling to ashes holy shit. Amazing battle scene.

Bronn is a complete legend now. Quiburn had better poisoned those ballista arrows. And I really hope Jamie lives, his arc has been the most interesting of all characters for me.

Also fuck the dothraki leader saying the lannisters can't fight after using a dragon on them. We need Jamie to fuck him in in 1v1 combat some later episode now.

Arya being an epic ninja assasin is fine, but deflecting a greatsword with a rapier while that person is also twice your size and triple your weight is some fucking bullshit. Or does the god of death give blessings of inhuman strength?Why didn't they just make her sidestep everything :X

Great ep, the Arya reunion was incredibly unsatisfying though, was looking forward to her seeing Sansa again since the first book/season, was a pretty.. casual encounter, I get why they did it that way, but felt really lacking somehow.

Sansa must be pretty frustrated. Arya is noone, Bran is not a Stark anymore but a greater being, once Jon comes back Bran will tell her he is actually a undead Targaryen.
