Perhaps they should have just left out the scene with the Lannisters being broke as it hasn't actually had any real implications (yet) anyway.

So I heard that we only have 1.5 seasons left, so 15 episodes. So are we getting 7+8 episodes, or 10+5 episodes? edit: so we actually might get 13 episodes left instead. Everything moved so fast into the endgame. | ||

I actually really loved the scene where Cersei was made the queen as I got flashbacks from Star Wars when the emperor couped everyone and became the ruler. It was a pretty powerful scene. But the scene losses a lot of value if she is just a walkover in next season. I think it will transition into fighting the white walkers. That will be the focus of the last season (perhaps we will see them walking over the wall/killing the nights watch defenses at the end of the next season). With how this episode was set up, I think its pretty clear that battles will be the main focus. The north wants to revenge the red wedding, and Dany wants to invade. That or Jaime kills Cersei. Probably will happen but I just feel that the lack of an actual battle w/ the north against the Lannisters will feel so unsatisfying. It would (almost) be like if Osha killed Ramsay and the boltons surrended afterwards. What could happen is that we do see an actual big battle/war, and over time as it become obvious that the Lannisters can't win, but Cersei not being willing to surrender, Jamie kills Cersei in order to make peace. | ||

As for the Varys teleporting, well I think the fleet that departed from Meereen picked him up in Dorne and probably their combined forces are nearing King's Landing, since Dorne is on the way from Meereen to King's Landing. Hopefully there will be more of Lady Mormont next seasons, what an amazing character. | ||

Overall I think it would be " Crown+Lannister vs Tyrell+Martell vs North+Vale vs Dany FFA" plus some inside wars bec of LF | ||

I think the wall is going to fall at the start of next season (same time Dany invade), I would be surprise to see an actual battle between the crown and the other kingdom, probably going to be resolve internally between Cercei and Jaime. Dany will probably go directly to the wall. Also the north should not be able to march south, they went for general mobilization once and were exterminate and the great house then form another army and were once again exterminate, with Winter coming their is no way they should be able to have an actual standing army. On another note that was the best episode in a long time for me, maybe the best of the whole show, the Kings Landing part was probably the best (apart for the Pycelle whore part it kind of kill the gravity of the situation for a few second), the music was realy great too. All the rest was also good, except maybe Dany and Dario, I just can't make myself care for them. Also I am more and more convince that Sansa is going to end up on the throne, my question now is if the obstacle in her path (mostly John and Dany, maybe Tyrion too) are going to die fighting the white walker or if she is going to turn on them after it is all over. She is 100% killing littlefingher after using him that I am sure of. | ||
