I don't even know how to feel about The Mandalorian any more. It seems like this show is really going nowhere and grasping at straws by triggering some nostalgia factors while at the same time ruining everything.
Tease emperor clones - drop midichlorians into the mix. Tease Ahsoka - the badass Jedi who went toe to toe with Darth Maul and Vader now has trouble defeating regular woman with a spear? Thrawn - why not just throw another name at the audience out of the blue?
It's seriously annoying because all the story beats and puzzle pieces are there to make it an interesting and coherent show, yet it seems like they're doing everything in their power to not make it so. I really don't know the reason for that. Why not expand the recurring cast a bit instead of doing those one-offs? If instead of teasing new names all the time more characters would be aiming at the same goal and realizing that would make them band together with Mando being the centerpiece that glues it all together we could have an amazing show with interactions between those characters. Nick, Cerano, Ahsoka and maybe the Mandalorian heiress as potential love interest would make for a cool crew I would be more than willing to tune to and follow their adventures. As it is the show is kinda pointless.

So, in The Mandalorian ep6 finally the show is picking up and some of the pieces we were thrown before (in previous season and earlier in this one) are coming together which is a welcome change but it brings with itself 2 problems: 1. It might be too little too late. 2. Now that more pieces are working together the short episode runtime is actually hurting it as there's not enough time to do much with them.
Raised by Wolves - Interesting story about androids/cyborgs trying to raise a family on a planet to keep humanity alive. Good sci-fi with religious undertones of right/wrong and belief/nonbelief DMZ - 4 episodes of an apparent DC comics story of a mother looking for her son in a post 20xx US civil war. Starts out kind of...meh but turns into something interesting. Solid acting. Peacemaker - Wasn't sure I'd like this spin-off of the John Cena character from the James Gunn Suicide Squad, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. The comedic timing was spot on in a lot of it and the acting was good enough. Some stale scenes ala snyder-esque lingering. Our Flag Means Death - Hilarious period comedy of pirates.
Billions -- Season 6 just wrapped up, and I gotta say, this is probably the only show that is thoroughly refreshing for me to watch. A clash between billionaires and the district attorney of New York. The battle of wits never ends. There's no clear good guy vs bad guy, lots of easter egg references (although they have a habit of making too many pop culture references), cameos from a variety of celebrities, and a well-written script that the average viewer won't be able to decipher immediately makes this show one that I whole-heartedly recommend to everyone.
I tried watching halo and its so bad. Its ugly cheap dumb and poorly made. It can't keep basic rules about whats going on for more than a few minutes and has some of the most obvious hacks to lower a CGI budget they were trying to stretch as far as they possibly could with as little as they were given.
Basic things like music are so poorly done its incredible. They used some sounds from the video game but it very clearly was written by people who had never played a single halo game and had people they were told to fill it in with what references they could think of after the fact. The first battle has just a bunch of elites that laugh and leap everywhere while being invincible until the spartans just drop out of the sky like superheroes from a "condor" instead of a pelican. After they arrive the same and weaker weapons suddenly are a ton more effective and all the elites go down while saying nothing or doing anything that they did in the video games. I'm honestly not even digging into some of the bigger problems I have with what was going on.
I'm glad I ended up living long enough to see everything from my childhood ruined one by one.

I really enjoyed Move to Heaven. It's a Korean tv show on Netflix. It's about a guy who has aspergers and his father who operate a trauma cleaning service. It's so good. It's emotional, funny and really well acted.

As a huuuuge Fan of Nathan Fillion (I mean who isn't?) I recently found "The Rookie". Too bad there are only two seasons. Can recommend if you liked "Castle".

I've been watching Night Sky on Amazon Prime. Its pretty good if you're into that scifi/melancholia vibe (like The Leftovers or The OA maybe). JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek are both really good in it. Not alot seems to happen, its maybe too many episodes, but its nice for a quiet night in on your own. Just a pleasant soundtrack, some pretty cinematography and a bit of sadness.
Finished watching Stranger Things season 4. All in all I love the series, the scenery, the old school vibes, the pretty dope sound tracks but + Show Spoiler +
I wanted to see more, I was hoping to see more, want more more more but I guess they ended it there so we can have a season 5, and I cant wait for it !!!!
