Complain about naruto doesn't mean they don't like naruto, it merely means they think naruto could be better and more enjoyable if whatever they complain about is fixed.

People bitch too much, its a shounen people, its supposed to be cheesy and predictable, to teach childish values like friendship and to portrait very simplistic and polarized sides of good and evil.

For a shounen, naruto is good and while im not a big fan i do enjoy the manga, it comes out every week and keeps me entertained while i wait for the seinen updates that usually take much longer.

I wonder why Kishimoto has not adapted Naruto into a seinen considering how long it's been around. Consider the fact that many of the people that have been reading/watching Naruto since its inception are now older and more appropriately in the seinen age range. Why not just adapt it into a more mature seinen rather than keep it as a shounen? (Has this been done before?)

I suppose he can keep a lot of his older readers regardless whether or not the content matures (I'm still reading it lol) but if he transforms it into a seinen then maybe he'd lose his younger readers. The question becomes whether or not shounen bring in more than Seinen.

I dunno IMO he could really do better by adapting it to people of older ages. I mean really what the little kids are looking for is Naurto, the original not Shippuden, and I do think that it would be a lot more enjoyable for them to read the original manga series as they grow up and then read Arc 2 when they're around adolescence.
