I'm pretty sure it's there at the moment you start to store it, as far as I can recall of Tsunade explaining it in the past. It's a focal point kind of thing, so it would make sense if it was there chakra went and got compressed, not somewhere hidden and only shows up when one's done. Kubo guest-wrote on that chapter. | ||

-orochimaru edo-ing jiraiya, then hashirama removing the edo-tensei strings, making jiraiya a permanent summon -then oro continues to revive tsunade (and the other kages) -they all make fighting poses while standing in front of the sealed juubi -naruto/sakura/sasuke in front, with jiraiya/orochimaru/tsunade directly at their back -the rest of the kages and ninja are there, then hashirama and the rest of the kages releases the seal and dispersed the juubi -the juubi seperates in to 7 seperate bijuus again (the 8 tails chakra and 9 tails chakra returns to their respective owners) -gai and lee cries tears of joy while waves crash into the cliff at the background. -kishimoto draw himself with sasuke kissing him. -end | ||

Literally Sasuke shows up and as they're walking up to it she just goes "Oh yeah, so this 3 year thing I've been working on? JUST now finished. BAM." You have to remember they've been fighting a life and death battle for how long now against Akatsuki? She should have been desperate for every advantage possible leading up to this point. To have the timing be THIS exact moment is kind of ludicrous and done precisely for dramatic reasons. Then again, expecting any kind of realism/sense in Shounen is a lost cause. All the same, I like it for what it is. SHANNARO!!! | ||
