I don't think it was ever sufficiently explained, but even Sasuke was able to suppress the Kyuubi pre-timeskip. It would definitely be possible and plausible for Madara to suppress/control the 9tails again. At the very least it is not beyond the author to let the 9tails be manipulated. On the plus side Naruto getting mind controleld would at least lead to an exciting scenario, unlike fighting the 10tails via "blast him with your energy beams". | ||

He surpressed a 9tails who was still sealed though and he'd have to surpress both the 9tails and Naruto right? I mean Naruto could just disrupt Kurama's chakra flow instead of the other way around... Anyway the strongest genjutsu probably still works like Shisui's kotoamatsukami and Itachi's Tsukuyomi which was only 1 sec long. | ||
