Ok Ok What if guys like what if All the shinobi of konoha were actually fooled? Like When Uchiha Itachi killed the Uchiha, the Sandaime hokage have the remaining one a mission: To silence the traitor. Of course, Sasuke was 8 year old and he wasn't prepared to go on a SS mission. No, the Sandaime didn't allow him to go to a SS mission. Then the Sandaime died. At that point, Sasuke, seeing the strength of the Nukenin and Sannin Orochimaru, decided it was time to fulfill his mission, and faked a "run" from the village. That was necessary to convince Orochimaru to give him strength, and to fool Itachi into thinking Sasuke had gone bad. However, Sasuke was actually just following the Sandaime's instructions, and after achieving power to battle Itachi, he betrayed the Nukenin and left to find Itachi and fulfill his SS-rank mission. In the meantime, each and every mission given to shinobi to find Sasuke were actually missions to check on his status, should he need reinforcements. Of course, none of the shinobi actually knew that - however the Godaime(who would continue Sandaime's legacy) was actually keeping tabs of him, and was ready to help him at any time should it be necessary(or let him die as a nukenin if the failure was imminent). As Sasuke fought Itachi, he learned really valuable information about the Akatsuki and decided he had to find out more. As a bonus, he also had the opportunity to lower the military power from the Thunder village by slaying the Hachibi - something that didn't go very well. At this point, his SS-rank mission has been fulfilled and he is going on another one. This time, to gather more information of the Akatsuki. Sadly, Pain attacked. The Godaime was the only person who knew Sasuke's true identity, so it's only natural that the temporary hokage Danzou would not know about that. Him being cocky and all, he didn't even bother to read the hokage's private records regarding Sasuke's situation. So, when Sasuke went to the kage reunion to gather information, Danzou decided to ambush him as, for him, Sasuke was just a terrifying Nukenin. Sasuke decided his survival was more important than Danzou's, so he fought for his life - and won. During the war, Sasuke - together with a mind-controlled Itachi - fought Kabuto and was an essencial piece to stop the Edo Tensei. As he finds out that the Nukenin Orochimaru is alive, they go back to Konoha and brings the most powerful weapon on Konoha's arsenal to battle: the Hokages. Therefore, despite what was previously considered the truth, Uchiha Sasuke is actually a hero for Konoha. .. .. .. And that's what I want Uzumaki Naruto, the Rokudaime Hokage, to say when the war is over, together with the manga. | ||

I dunno, he was capable of telling the difference between the Zetsus and the actual allied ninjas so I'd assume he can read through Sasuke like a book when he goes Super Saiyan Kyuubi no Jutsu. | ||

Orochimaru is very strong, almost to the point of OP. He had his arms sealed away for the longest time which made him seem weak, but he was able to take on naruto in a transformed state (4-tails iirc) and seemed to be playing around with him. Let's not forget that when he fought sasuke, he was damn near dead anyways. | ||
