I would like the conclusion of the Naruto/Sasuke arc. It was the last thing pre-time skip that sasuke left the village. Post time skip Sasuke barely interacted with Naruto.

This fight is basically Dragonball Z/GT at the end, where overpowerd things throw giagantic "deathballs" at each other, even gai`s so powerfull "gate technique" seemed like a little fly and the kyuubi just "energizes" everyone so they can use another ultimate justu... just waiting for a fungal randomly appearing out of no where...

Holy shit do you realize just how powerful the Ten-Tails is? Kurama told us that it is essentially a god on earth that can split oceans, destroy continents, and pretty much fuck up everything. The way you describe these "deathballs" tells me you never even read Naruto before.

10tails is ugly as hell though and yeah no comment about Kakashi who learned on the fly how to kamui a gigantic object within seconds and resuck it out of the other dimension.

And exactly that is the problem, this ultimate "god" doesnt fit into the naruto world...because it leads to this "deathballs", while the typical naruto fights were about tactic and combinations of jutsu to counter the jutsus of the opponent.
What do you prefer fights like Neji vs. spiderman/ Hidan vs. shikamaru or fights like unbeatable Madara vs. Kage/ 10-tails vs. 9- and 8-tails?
And it seems you never read naruto before.... because these dragonballesk fights started in the recent arcs.
This fight has nothing to do with naruto anymore...the fight will go like this...
-10-tails and 9-+8-tails throw deathballs at each other
-10- tails seems too powerfull
-Kakashi and co help
-kyuubi recharges them again
-all hope is lost
-Naruto/kakashi use talk no jutsu
-obito sacrifices himself
-10-tails survives
-Sasuke arrives and pulls out a deux ex machina
-Sasuke gets rinnengan and fusiondances with naruto and uses "Perfect-Izanagimi-Amaterasu-Susanoo-Rasengan"

I still re-read the Shikamaru fights (I mean all of them) but that doesn't mean what's happening now is bad. The kage fight had some pretty good strategy and combination attacks, and vs undead Mizukage was pretty sweet. Uchiha vs Kabuto was also nice for a while.

Naruto (manga) going Dragonball'esque is just about right. Not that I like big energy balls type of fights, but the manga started as Godly-shinobis throwing slabs and mountains at each other (First Hokage vs Madara, basicaly super elite-level or nearly god-level ninjas with dragonball type jutsus), then cooled down a bit (Naruto Chapter 1 all the way through chuunin exam arc to sasuke-kidnapped saga). Its just returning to its roots as predicted. I mean, you think 9-tails will keep its calm all the way to the end?
I still prefer Shikamaru/Classic ninja fights, but I think Kishi is saving that for Naruto vs Sasuke (hoping...)

Loved the chapter. Settings things up nicely for Naruto to become the new sage of the six paths, maybe if Sasuke and he unite they'll have the bloodlines necessary. To the whiners talking about Dragonball and so on, the tailed beasts have been in the manga all along, bound to happen. Juubi is basically a natural calamity on earth, only harnessed by man ( The Sage ) and now set free once again by one of his descendants ( Madara ).
I'm wondering if Madara and Tobi will lose control of the Juubi at some point... The Sage himself had trouble controlling him, doubt Madara, for all his power and glory, can control it permanently.

well this arc will end therell be peace for a while naruto gets crowned hokage
Naruto has peeps looking for sasuke, eventually they find him or Sasuke declares war on Konoha using whateverthefuckwasinthescroll the arc continues on until the final fight where Naruto kills Sasuke

I find it difficult to believe that Sasuke will be able to fight on equal terms with Naruto after this particular arc.
Unless he absorbs the Juubi or something.
