not like there was a big rock in the way stopping them from accessing the other eye
they didnt have the time to do a full excavation, besides if his other eye was crushed then his whole other side of his face would ahve been so hed have been dead by then

i think rin is dead since kakashi stated he wasnt able to keep his promise he gave obito (protecting rin) and that he was going to meet up with obito, rin and his sensei [minato]. that was during the pain invasion saga [around chapter 424/5ish] ;D
and about izuna faking his death: it was written in the third databook that he died in battle, so why would it be wrong?

Rin is dead (or at the very least Kakashi believes she is dead, but with what's going on lately wtf knows). Kakashi previously apologize to "Obito" for failing to keep his promise (protecting Rin), in addition I believe they mentioned another time that she had in fact died.

i dont think that matters since the author could jsut put in the databook whats commonly believed to be right and since noone knows that Izuna faked his death he put in he died

probably not he doesnt have the 9 tails under control, the 9 tails is jsut willing to work with him, its a partnership not S&M so doesnt mean the 9 tails is willing to let the toads in too

So it was pretty obvious kakashi and tobi used the same jutsu so it is the same sharingan... both from obito. This mean tobi is obito or someone else? Looking like its obito for the most part?
edit: my guess is its madara's brother stealing obito's eye.

I think someone just ganked Obitos eye. Eye farming has come up a decent amount so why not Obito's too? Everyone would of known Obito was capable of Sharingan because right before he died he managed to awaken it and Kakashi was running around with it.
Edit: Reading it it seems like he had a previous conversation with Kakashi, where he told him to "not to open his mouth so easily"
Need to reread the issue where they show the Kakashi flashback to see if there is any telling dialogue.
Also Naruto looks badass in that last panel.

judging by Tobis collection i wouldnt be surprised if he was present every time an Uchiha died or manged to access the corpse before there Sharingan was destroyed
with Sharingan he could trick autopsys and those ninja whos job is to destroy the body so the missing sharingan would never be reported
most likely he was trying to find a sharingan like Obitos which could control space time or one with some other ability

although i do like the symatrey, for the MS one eye fires the Tsukyomi which is a very passive sort of attack and the other fires the Amaterasu which is a very direct sort of attack so it makes sense that one of Obitos eyes transfers the user to a different dimension passively dealing with things and the other transfers a target to a different dimension directly dealing with things
im starting to think Tobi might be Kakashis father, at this point pretty much anyone who could be Tobi is dead so somsone faked there death somewhere along the line
Kakashis dad has a serious grudge against wars and such since it was because of war he made that decision that turned everyone against him
Kakashis dad died and everyone pretty much forgot about him and stopped telling people about him (hence why Obito didnt know of him) plus he didnt die in active duty but by suicide (kinda odd that someone who cared so much for his comrades would suicide) essentially Kakashis dad became a "noone" and was forgotten by everyone
he definently has the motive to want to do waht Tobi is planning, and a good reason to keep his identity hidden and would explain why he was caught by Itachi sneaking around the Uchihas secret places (an uchiha wouldnt have to be sneaking around) he knew hed need a powerful genjutsu to pull of his plan and when you say Genjutsu you think Uchihas
and it would explain why he was there when Obito died, since it was Kakashis first mission as a captain so he wanted to watch him and see what would happen
