Like I already said, it was pointless. Anyone who has payed any attention to Naruto already knew that all the things tried in this chapter would fail easily.

Sasuke and Orochimaru are going to meet up with someone. Suigetsu found something really interesting. The chapter should have had a few pages of Kakashi/Gai being badass and Naruto doing stuff, then focused on the stuff that could "change the war". You push forward the story while having some nice action bits. Problem solved.

It's kind of funny that all the plotline not involving Naruto (the character) is good, while anything involves him on screen is completely boring.

none of the people in Sasukes group care about the War, Orochimaru being Orochimaru and sasuke deciding to not sleep through history class this time, whatever is on the scroll is jsut so there can be another war after this war is over

I don't think it matters who Tobi is anymore. Like, I don't even care; if he's an old super powered guy from the ninja world, so what? Not like we'll know him any better or anything; the secret has been kept so long we can be positive it isn't someone we've seen before, like maybe Sasuke's dad. He's pretty much anyone and I've lost interest in who he is as of a long time ago.
The fight will end with the good guys winning. No matter what. The Kages CAN'T die. If they die, the ninja world is fucked, no leaders for ANY ninja village besides the small ones who will probably become the next top tier. Remember how when the Hokage died, everyone was like "FUCK we need a new guy NOW"?
It's really stupid how they don't have a Vice-Kage or something just in case someone that important dies. They were on the frontlines on this battle.... Like "LOL we're Kages, never gonna die" attitude has to be backed up... Maybe like 2 will die max?

Tsunade has to die or hurt so much so that she has to step down and kakashi too so that the next in line would be naruto. Unless this doesn't end with naruto becomes the hokage.

I still disagree that Tobi should be as fast or as strong as he is.
First of all, we've already seen how fast Naruto is. The current Raikage was the fastest character in the show. He charged up to 100% speed and attacked Naruto in Chapter 544. But Naruto was so fast that he dodged the Raikage's punch when it was only an inch away. It was strongly insinuated that he was as fast as the 4th Hokage's teleport, which the Raikage himself has seen. Since that point, Naruto has only gotten better, as now the 9-tails gives him chakra for free. There is no conceivable way that Tobi should be able to dodge (or even react to) any of his attacks.
Second, the tailed beast bomb is pretty much the most powerful attack we've ever seen. Much stronger than Naruto's Rasen Shuriken. As far as I can tell, nobody has ever gotten hit by one and survived. You have to dodge it or block it and run. Even when the 4-tails Naruto shot a mini tailed beast bomb at Orochimaru, he had to summon his strongest defense (the 3 walls) to block it, and it destroyed half the forest. But now that Naruto can go full beast mode with the 9-tails, his beast ball is stronger than that of every other tailed beast combined. The fact that Tobi can simply block Naruto's beast bomb using nothing but his fan is ridiculous.
I love Naruto. Both the manga and the anime. But right now, imo, Kishi is doing a sloppy job with power levels. If he doesn't want Naruto to have teleportation-like speed and a super bomb attack, then he shouldn't have given them to him in the first place. But he did. He needs to respect those abilities when he draws fights.
This fight should have been over on page #1: Naruto teleports to the Mazou and destroys it with a tailed beast bomb. Tobi tries to stop him, but he's way too slow, and too busy dealing with Gai/Bee/Kakashi. GG. The end.

Tobi's strength doesn't only lie on his speed. He can absorb people on contact and he's intangible when he is not attacking. It doesn't matter how fast naruto was if he can't bait tobi into attacking him and read that attack and preempt that attack with his own counter attack like the 4th did, Tobi will not be defeated. Pretty sure the beast bomb would just run right pass Tobi too. The whole reason the 4th is able to predict what Tobi was ganna do is because the 4th is lightning fast, and tobi tried to absorb him once, hence the 4th knows the only chance Tobi can defeat him is to absorb him on contact before he teleports away. Kakashi, Guy, and Naruto doesn't have the 4th's speed, Tobi has so much more options, they have no idea where and when Tobi is ganna pick his spot and attack with what kind of skill. That's why this is hard for them to deal with and why Tobi is ridiculously strong. Don't forget even if they are able to deal Lethal damage to Tobi he can still Izunagi. I don't see how they can beat someone like that. They need sasuke for sure.

They don't need to beat Tobi. They just need to destroy the Mazou. Besides, it was already shown that Naruto is as fast as the 4th's teleportation.

Naruto moved less than 100meters when he fought raikage, the 4th teleported to butt fuck no where cross the Continent. Can't compare their velocity. remember v=d/t 
And I'm not sure what the Mazou can do, but what I am sure of is Tobi will not just stand there and let them do whatever they want. Maybe they can use Mazou as a bait and aim for the instance when Tobi try to save it and all gang up on Tobi. But then fucking Izunagi and we all saw how many Eyes Tobi got saved up.
