Both the 4th Hokage and Konan did a better job vs Tobi than Kakashi, Gai, Bee, and Beast Mode Naruto put together so far... Tobi hasn't even busted out the Rinnegan or Sharingan.
I agree with this. Tobi seems to have gotten a hell faster/stronger. If he could keep up with Beast Mode he should've been able to dodge Konan and the 4th a lot better. (Yes the 4th could teleport but in normal fighting that's not as useful imo)
Minato is faster then Naruto, thats indispitable being able to move instantly is always faster then moveing physically
everyone is forgetting 2 things
1. Tobi is not faster then Naruto, if he was then Naruto would ahve been caught by now 2. Tobi is not dodging Narutos attacks, you ahve to be constantly attacking him in a way that would kill him for 5 minutes or else the attack passes through him 3. Konan had the extreme advantage of having a technique thats basically sebonzakura wo she could attack from many different angles at the same time allowing her to easily counterattack 4. Konan got to prepare for an extremely long time and prepare a trap to fight Tobi and needed an extremely flashy move to pull it off
the 4 of them havent actually donr anything flashy to him yet, no Bijuudama, no 7th gate, no rasenshuriken, very conservative use of shadow clones and Kakashi spent most of the chapter trying to suck in the Gedo
This week's issue is so action packed. I'm gonna go back and read it again. I'm also glad to see Guy and Kakashi helping in the fight. Feels like its been too long seen I've seen Eyebrows Sensei in action.
hmm kamui dindt work and gedos eyes are bleeding... so maybe the gedo have a conection with the uchiha and the reason kamui dindt work was cause gedos mangekyo countered it

Tobi can counter the Mangekyo somehow, whatever stopped Kakashis attack must be what extinguished the Amaterasu

When, Sasuke killed Danzo, and they all went to fighting. Before Tobi took Sasuke, Zetsu and himself away he ballfaced said 'That technique won't work on me' so, he knows what technique is going ot be used by Kakashi, and yet; wasn't that basically the first time he had even seen it?
So, Tobi knows what technique it was to begin with. More sense for Tobi to be Obito though, I hope not; even if the whole right side of body crushed... Ya know his right side is Zetsu basically, from the fight with Danzo's men there he lost an arm and it definantly looked like white Zetsu arm to me.
So, it would make sense that Tobi could counter Kamuii. To many, similarities to NOT Be Obito at this point. Yep curse me out if you want, but frankly? The cards speak for themselves. I think at the least.

or because he saw Kakashi was about to use a mangekyou technique on him he siad "it wont work" because he knows how to counter the Mangekyou Sharingan
he could ahve thought Kakashi was going to use Amaterasu, plus hes the leader of the Akastuki which means he knew Deidara (even worked with him) so he got a full report about Kakashis technique
Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention but Naruto's fights constantly confuse me as to what is going on. What attack was Kashi supposed to be doing against that thing anyways?

I've just realized that after skipping basically all of Shippuden, I have absolutely no idea what any of these powers do...and that it really doesn't matter.
Most of these battles can be summed up as "Something cool happens, then Sharingan haxes and stops everything".
i don't see anything wrong with this chapter. the whole purpose behind this scenario is tobi buying time so his mazdou can transform, tobi doesn't really have to make a move or come out of his ghost form for that 5 minutes or whatever duration of time it takes, especially if all 3 of them are focused on him and not attacking the mazdou, as long as he's got their attention on him and he's buying time by pretending to attack (which is what he did exactly vs danzo's group) i don't see a reason for tobi to need to come out of ghost.

becasue he can only stay ghost for 5 minutes and if the more they fight the more likely theyll manage to damage the Gedo

Agreed. Wow there was some "action," but they're really just dragging out this whole Tobi thing. We already know how strong he is.. they don't need to re-affirm it to us
