haha as many said before me, literally NOTHING happened. I generall like flashbacks but well that was kinda unncessary since it doesn't much depht to his character imo, since we knew that he was an orphan trained into super spy without an identity. Naruto's still so bad.

He's talking about completing the technique. Minato never fully developed the Rasengan because he couldn't combine spatial recomposition and elemental composition - which is in other words, as you said, adding nature manipulation since Rasengan is purely spatial recomposition. And he needs two clone and Sage Mode to pull it off? Are you serious? He needs one clone to do the regular rasengan, just that. But to use his wind type rasengan he needs two clones - which is what you are talking about (I think). The reason for this is that he needs to split the job - one of the clones does the nature manipulation. During his battle against Kazuku, which was the first time he used it in battle, he didn't use sage mode. Naruto have only used this technique twice in battle. Once against Kazuku and the other against Pain. In the latter battle he used it with Sage mode. And if I recall correctly, he didn't use clones with Sage Mode
ya and during his fight against Kazuka it failed once before it actualyl worked, and when it did work it practically killed him
the technique wasnt complete until he could throw it and have a 100% success rate which needed Sage mode

i would have liked this chapter to end with Itachi casting the Izanami and it being left as a cliffhanger like that but i guess we still ahve to find out how Kabutos foster home gets destroyed in a way he can blame himself

its ok,most of the time whenever we have flash back means that char gonna die so the outcome is obvious.I remember Kabuto lost his specs alot of time and somehow got it back,i wonder how many spares he has....

LOL! Wow...I seriously hope Izanami isn't really Kabuto's past no jutsu. Major letdown. I've had my fill of Sharingan powerups, flashback no jutsu, and talk no jutsu in this fight already. I just need more genjutsu to complete this garbage fight.

Kinda funny really. I bet Japanese people who knew this myth weren't suprised at all about anything. Basically all of the Uchiha abilities are based on this. The moment you first see Tsukuyomi and know this myth you can basically expect the rest.
Edit: Just thought of this - if he actually transfers his soul into Kabuto maybe he will be able to undo Edo Tensei. Remember how Kabuto said that only he can undo this jutsu and it has no weakness and then Itachi said I'm it's weakness? Makes perfect sense if he was planning a soul transfer. And then after he undoes edo tensei he'll die because he'll say that basically edo tensei ressurects the soul not the body and even tho he is in Kabutos body it's still his soul. And this way it will fit with the myth because there it says that Izanami died after she did this soul transfer.
^ Makes sense...total sense.
