Izanami actually makes sense, given how the Naruto background is similar to several Japanese myths. Especially the Uchiha with Amaterasu, Susanoo, Tsukiyomi and Izanagi already shown. Actually - reading through Wikipedia it gets even better: Izanami died by giving birth to a fire demon.

It's just a kinjutsu. Probably weird translation as a counterpart of Izanagi which is a genjutsu but it's not a next-level-sharingan.

Because they didn't have master sharingan users like Itachi/Madara/Sasuke at the time? ^^ The ones that have next-level eyes. Dunno why after that they still decided to kill of Uchiha, they have potential to be stronk but not always that imbalanced.

Aah but this is probably as strong as they are going to get, after madara tobi and kabuto are beaten, I see this ending. (if they make any stronger enemies this shit will turn into dbz, altho I would not be too surprised as the author is a big fan of DB)

The Uchiha side of this Manga is incredibly pathetic.

First of all Itachi's motivation to kill his family and then become a villain makes no sense whatsoever. The Itachi of part 1 was a villain and just for the sake of having a surprise twist he became a good guy. What if Jiraya didnt show up in time? Then Kisame would have cut Naruto's legs and brought him to Madara, like the four tails. And not only is cutting a kid's legs off one of the meanest thing you can think of, stealing the most powerful weapon of the leaf and delivering it to their biggest threat is not "helping the leaf in disguise". Just like it was not helping the world or Sasuke or the leaf or when he and Kisame captured the four tailed beast and delivered it right to Madara. Itachi was just a villain and a pretty good one at that. But hey, STORY TWIST, let's make a STORY TWIST. Who cares if it makes sense. THE BIG TWIST. Gosh. How awesome would this Manga be if Itachi's real motivation to keep Sasuke alive had really been to take his eyes?

And now, Izanami. What the fuck? This is a new level of bullshit.

I agree that the Uchiha storyline is really flimsy. Only character background that I really like is Rock Lee. He is undoubtedly the best character in Naruto.

Why, because he is a self made man? I like rock lee too, for many reasons, but he not a very 'serious' character tho. Come to think of it, I like all the funny characters... funny tobi, deidara, lee, guy & kakashi, naruto & jiraiya;...

While the uchiha storyline sometimes doesnt make sence, on the other hand, someone does not simply kill their family without a reason, so Itachi killing his family to save his brother and the village isnt a TOTAL asspull after all...

What disturbs me the most is the characters getting too strong, I like it when all of them have still big weaknesses aswell. Now its just a bunch of superheroes clashing. I will read on nonetheless...
