For one to obtain the mangekyou, you have to feel the loss of your closest other. For Itachi, it was Shisui. For Sasuke, it was Itachi. But Kakashi had stated that everyone close to him was dead so I have no idea how he could have possibly gotten it. | ||

Overall nice chapter. Can't wait until Naruto goes bijuu-nine-tails-mode, which I think we have gotten hints from since he and Bee trained. | ||

He wasn't a member of the seven swordsmen for nothing. And Haku is probably one of the strongest ninja in the series. Combining crystal ice mirrors and his ability to hit a part of the person's body for an insta-kill is not a skill to be taken lightly. Kinda pissed off that they never bothered explaining how Haku did one-handed seals though. | ||

We know from the past that Kakashi is a highly reknowned jounin who is in other nations Bingo books. We know he can open up several gates (training arc this was revealed). We know that he has 4 elements (fire, earth, lightning,water). His intelligence is comparable with the greatest strategists of Konoha and he knows 1000 jutsu. On top of all this he is one of the masters of the sharingan achieving a mastery few Uchiha could despite his handicap of non-uchiha blood which causes them to be huge chakra drains (though danzo didn't have this problem...). By all rights Kakashi should look more impressive than he is allowed to. Of course then we got the DBZ progression t.t in which sheer chakra force seems to overcome his strategies. To be fair, Kakashi properly written would be incredibly difficult to write because he seems to be a strategic fighter unlike many others. He has the power and range of abilities to like Itachi choose where he fights and win most fights. | ||
