Seems like this is much like his dads protective seal that released on Naurto's battle vs pain, his mum propably did something with him (like a seal or somthing) and now its time for it to give him the strength to overcome the foxes hatred. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + the 4th hokage sealed naruto's mom with the fox inside naruto. The 4th most probably knew that the fox can take over naruto (if ever naruto tried to take over the fox, which he is currently doing) so as a last line of defense, he put naruto's mother in it too... | ||
