and the only murakami i didn't finish! i distinctly remember the phrase: kissing down there giving me a rough time. chalked it up to a personal fault eventually, will take another stab at it possibly. i loved a lot of his other stuff when i was younger: hard boiled adventurer, kafka on the shore, blind willow, sleeping woman. still carry with me the mental picture of an old woman full of bees (?) and a guy who kills cats for his flute. | ||

I'm also considering reading some Murakami next, as a lot of people here seem to be doing so as well, tho I guess the overall reception seems to be a bit divided? Most likely would pick up either Wind-up Bird Chronicles or Kafka on the Shore, but not decided yet. | ||
