For sure Eminem's impressive but I didn't like the beat/production at all and actually listening to a few of those lines...they're corny as hell. Not to mention the verse where Eminem rhymes boy with... boy like 12 times is terrible. Like Jay-Z on Pound Cake. just saying. he's making fun of that shit. but yeah you may still find it annoying in Rap God lol.

I personally think cudi is. I feel like a lot of people like him, he's well respected in the industry - but I just don't think he gets the recognition he deserves. hell even in this thread he is rarely mentioned. I also personally believe he is one of, if not, the best supporting rappers out there. for example if you feature eminem or kdot on your track they're going to murder it and probably overshadow you. but if you got cudi featured he just makes you sound so much better. I think there is a certain amount of talent in that aspect. just my humble opinion as a pretty big cudi fan. ps what do you guys think about wale? double ps if I had to pick ant rappers voice I would take cudi. he can spit he can sing but it sounds so natural and raw. really enjoy it.

at least that's all I've ever liked, wzrd was just on a whole other level of awful all his albums afterwards seems like psychedelic rap but without drugs, and it's not like cudi's a great rapper, either. remember this I want to kiss you on the space below your navalette The place that you keep neat. So moist.. Like a towelette lmfao his debut and mixtape are great though

bad production mostly. I also never liked his singing as much as most fans do, he has the Drake problem of having little range but with Cudi he also tends to have similar melodies to his singing as well. It's not exclusively an Indicud problem but I felt like it was worse there. And yeah Andy I'm talking Kid Named Cudi and MOTM1

He's definetly gets the least recognition out of Kendrick, Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q, but he released a good album and in my opinion he was the only person to outshine Kendrick in a song on GKMC. Excuse me: take you and your mama to the motherland I could do it + Show Spoiler + lol drake features

He's not trying to rhyme and failing, repetition is a different sometimes really effective verbal tool. Like in these (a couple of Lil Wayne's very best songs from when he was showing killer skills) using repetition where you would expect rhyming, but using rhyming or assonance in the middle of the lines instead is a really good twist--see 0:50 and 1:30 of Fly In, or especially 1:00 mark of Fly Out he extends it for a while and it's awesome. + Show Spoiler +
