The nuke sorta came out of nowhere too. I think it made for a cool moment, when he finally went for it, but that never happened when he transformed before. It was made very clear how suddenly he appeared before, like a bolt of lightning. I just hope that's as far as the stretching goes. | ||

Plot armor makes sense for Eren, Mikasa and Armin because they are the three main characters who should last at least until the finale. Everyone else should be fair game. This isn't meant to be One Piece where everything is a battle of wills. This is Attack on Titan where the average life expectancy of a soldier is less than that of a WW1 fighter pilot. | ||

Not so much that it cheapens character deaths but enough so that you're on the edge of your seat praying for your favorite character's safety. That's what it was like back in trost. Those moments of despair and hope hooked me on the series. | ||

Knowing that attack on titan has partnered with universal studios and other things, they're not going to be ending the manga any time soon, nor will they kill off notable cast members, it's generally not how japanese writing goes anyway. | ||

I really would like to see how they deal with bert because he's just this walking mass hot flames. The size discrepancy was beyond what i imagined in eren vs bert, bert looks like a sky scrapper vs an ant. Everytime you try to touch him he blows everything away with hot steam. I suppose there's probably some chemistry solution here rofl. maybe find some way to trip bert i'm not sure. they don't have enough equipment to deal with everything. i'm guessing the only solution is if levi brings the monkey titan to his knees and bert / reiner back off | ||
