Not sure about you guys but I love Gibbs.
She's the female version of Cameron Dennis, which is all about putting bad guys behind bar regardless, even if that means playing dirty.

I can definitely appreciate Gibbs's role, especially when we're privy to all the bullshit that Pearson Specter has pulled over the years without much accountability.

Louis yelling at Tara was *not* the correct way to handle that shit. And it seems like Rachel's bipolar personality is rubbing off on Mike. Yes, no, hot, cold... Jesus.
Also, the teaser for next week- the season finale- has + Show Spoiler +Gibbs saying to Harvey about Mike "Trade: you for him".

Probably, but I meant that it's been abundantly clear that Mike and Harvey aren't *really* legally required to do anything; they sidestep the rules all the time, and dodging that question would make Mike's life a lot easier. I mean, the very premise of this show was how to get away with illegal activity, right? He might as well just say "We're working on it and I'll let you know asap" instead of "$100 million". That's probably less of a risk than being a fraudulent lawyer, etc.

Agreed, and so many of the flaws are absurdly transparent and eye-rollingly easy to just... not do. It's like some of these characters have no free will and are simply fated to shoot themselves (and others) in the feet.
I feel like the main plot of Suits can be summed up by just repeating these 4 lines of dialogue:
Harvey: I have an idea.
Mike: But that's shady and illegal as shit!
Harvey: So?
Mike: Good point. Let's do it. Oh crap, how do we get out of this situation?

Do you remember a couple of seasons ago when they were gonna put all the shady shit behind them and become clean again? That didn't last too long ^^.

i liked it better when aside from mike being a fraud, harvey worked in the grey but never crossed the line. now he plays jump rope with the law

Good season finale... New beginnings and endings for the summer.
Jessica is gone, Tara is gone, Rachel is in, Mike is in, Harvey will take the reins while Louis is emotionally recoiling, and Donna wants something more in life than just being a secretary.

This show wants to be a comedy so bad and the network needs to let it go back to its roots.
No wisecracks during the Ethics board is just a missed opportunity...

Thought it was a good episode. The Tara storyline ending is a blessing for the show, I don't think anyone liked it. Jessica for a bit was cool and Mike's defense on the ethics board was good too. Especially him showing that there was already precedent for a convicted criminal becoming a lawyer. Wouldn't have been believable at all if he was the first one.

I feel that given the stakes of the hearing, wisecracks during the hearing would have seemed out of place. I do hope that the show can indeed go "back to its roots" in terms of Harvey and Mike kicking ass on cases together now!

I still have no idea why the short Tara arc was introduced, unless it's to set up for something in the next season (I think it is).
