This has been on my mind recently, but what do you guys think Enryu is doing by hiding away? In fact, why are the top three Rankers in hiding so far? Is Zahard just afraid of being exposed as weak, and Phantaminium just leaking fear into the Tower?

+ Show Spoiler + I think so. It makes sense from a story standpoint as his story mirror's Baam's. Both grew up in a darkness. Both had best friends who taught them how to live (Rachel and Cassano). Now Horyang has been betrayed by Cassano (probably for the devil in the right arm). Sucks, I was hoping for Rachel to die of bed sores.

Also, it seems Apple is the blonde on Koon's team that first found the picture with Cassano. Poor Koon, definitely getting played.

My guesses
There's no explanation is to why Phantaminium showed up personally that one time, he should be able to influence the tower by writing the story. Having him appear is the anomaly.
Zahard is probably only concerned with moving up, perhaps he's waiting for a team strong enough to challenge the next floor. He doesn't care about tower politics, the system he has setup create a lot of strong high rankers on its own which is all he wants.
Enryu might be trying to stay away from Zahard reach but he's definitely the harder of the three to decipher.

Phantaminium - I think he's only interested in the other strong irregulars like Enryu, Mazino and Zahard. When he met Zahard, he realized what he was looking for, Zahard didn't have and he left. Probably waiting for another irregular or Mazino.
Enryu - We know 2 facts about him. He killed a guardian and it's rumored he can create life with Shinsoo. He could be the one responsible for making Baam considering Baam has no parents (?) and is waiting for him to rise.
Zahard - He seems to only be interested in keeping his empire in control as he can no longer walk up the tower as the guardian of the next level is unwilling to test him. Could be that after thousands of years he just doesn't want to climb anymore. Maybe his disappearance has to do with the return of the Prince of Zahard.

Those bastards... How could they do that to Horyang... I bet Cassano has something secret that we have yet to know. Plus everyone else is getting toyed around with now, even Koon who plays with others.
Regarding the top three Rankers, I would say,
Phantaminium: Probably biding his time and raising fear in the Tower because everyone knows of his terrifying presence and possibly taking control of it. Despite being an Exis (meaning he can destroy the Tower in the blink of an eye), there must be some motive for him to preserve the Tower.
Enryu: Likely studying Phantaminium and attempting to discover what an Exis is in the Tower. An immensely powerful character like Enryu would not disappear without some good reason, and because Phantaminum presents a threat to him and the world, he must be curious on what he is.
Zahard: Knowing his strength is at stake, he might be rallying his followers to preserve his rank as King of the Tower.
