The last chapter was OK but the author moves forward in the plot very swiftly.

And the part of Horang remembering being experimented on was kinda generic for the genre, but the Headon twist was super-good. I liked it.
I don't think headon was a twist. Headon invites all regulars to climb the tower, and the devil of the right arm was chosen to climb the tower. Just like how rachel was transported in ch 1 to climb the tower.

I still think Headon's objective is the Tower's objective: Creating a god. I don't think he is happy that Zahard has stopped progressing and even going so far as killing future monsters who'll might oppose him (through his RED division for example). I don't think he is pulling all the strings, because he is not openly opposing Zahard, he is working behind the scenes and collaborating with FUG.
His job is to select worthy regulars and Zahard is actively killing the most worthy of the regulars, so that is the conflicting theme

How strong is Horyang is the question... Casano is likely going to be stronger than him since Horyang has just been chilling and not pushing forward for awhile.
Baam is still pretty unknown, though it could be said "he made a god bleed" when he found Urek.

Word of God says both of them are irregulars.

I should probably re-read this again. The author really puts a lot of thought and detail into the story.

SIU really likes to revisit the past as a storytelling device, you really have to know your history of ToG to fully understand the story, even the smallest details.

I had a quick question that I didn't notice until recently.
When Chapter 2 started, Viole confronts rapdevil (who at the time was known as 'Devil of the Right Hand') about the rumors of 'Devil of the Right Hand' defeating his swordwielding friend (Hatsu?) from season 1 to which rapdevil simply replies 'why don't we find out' or something. But now we're learning that Teddy is the real Devil of the Right Hand and/or his 'brother' who is a left-handed Devil of the Right Hand (Devil of the Left hand?). So is the sword guy actually dead? And if so, was it teddy or teddy's brother who did it?

Hatsu should still be alive, SIU really hates to kill off characters unless it is necessary (not even Ho is dead as far as I remember). Could have been Horyang just from his strength, but he hid his real identity from others, and it seems that no one noticed him despite being so infamous. Probably was Rapdevil who defeated Hatsu, but it could have been Horyang because I don't see Rapdevil really defeating someone as good as Hatsu.
|
ah you're right, i guess just saying 'defeated' doesn't imply killing, but the way Viole reacted, made it seem like Hatsu was killed or something. I guess we won't know for sure which "devil of the right hand" actually defeated Hatsu until upcoming chapters, but I agree, rapdevil was relatively weak for him to be able to beat Hatsu straight up so I assume it's Horyang or his 'bro'

I'm sorry ToG.
I've been cheating on you with another manhwa. Lessa is amazing too~
Sigh, another manhwa to wait for on a weekly basis.

It should have been explained during the flashback at the end of the first season. I like the theory of ChaoSbringer.
1. Haedon is waiting for Baam to enter the tower. Baam and the bitch are playing together. 2. The bitch enters the tower leaving Baam behing. This triggers something in Haedon's mind and Ha Yuri descend to see the irregular (theoretically the bitch). 3. Haedon tells her to fight the white steel eel but she is scared and refuse to do it. Haedon explains that she has notthing to do inside of the tower (which makes her an irregular too). 4. Baam mourns and feeling alone decide to enter the place where the bitch has gone. He enters the tower and is greeted by Haedon. 5. Haedon puts Baam up to the same task trying to discourage him from advancing. However Baam goes full-suicide and with the help of Ha Yuri manages to complete the challenge even though he is a regular irregular (as described by Evan in the 2nd Ch.) 6. The bitch is in despair that Baam advanced and Haedon makes a trade with her to let her be the heroine of the story (probably a stylistic figure)
The trade was to put Baam into FUG's hand as well as using his friends as hostages (the rings that were given to them)
