After Bronycon moved to Maryland, the head honchos at the Bronies-NYC meetup group managed to organize this con for the local bronies, including me!! So if you live in the tri-state area (or just want an excuse to visit NYC), sign up!! General admission will be $50 until December 27th, after which the price will go up to $65. I myself will try to volunteer at the con. | ||

I don't appreciate that Cane. Not one bit. Also to the person who doesn't understand Rarity, there is a notable post by GMarshal about Rarity. I'm too tired to find it but its linked in the OP. | ||

It would seem there are a number of different kinds of brony's so I will introduce myself. I am a college student, and I love sports, video games, and girls. For some reason I have yet to completely pin down, I enjoy watching MLP, and I love listening to episodes and songs to help me go to sleep. (I have sleeping issues, and MLP is the only thing that lets me go to sleep at reasonable times.) My favorite Character is Luna because she is so pretty, but I also think Princess Celestia is a BOSS! I am still a closet brony, and no one in my family knows. Only a couple of my closest friends. (I have 5 older brothers, all of whom are athletic manly men.... Soo Ya. Saying I like My little Pony would get me beat up  ) And lastly, I do draw some pictures, and I especially like turning people I know into Pony's. Its fun, except they always look weird because I give them human colored skin... haha. But anyways. I just wanted to say HI. Don't really know what its like to be a part of this community, but I do like the show. So i figured why not give it a shot! | ||

I used to be 'closet', too, until people started asking why I had this silly grin on my face the whole time. Eventually I started showing them stuff like this: Star Ponies (Serious service to the fanboys) - may be spoilery if you haven't seen it  or this: Extra Sprinkles! (A mean drunk in a kid's cartoon?) or this: PonyCraft At least they don't bother me anymore, and now I can wear my DJ-PON3 t-shirt with a straight face. It may take some warming up, but you'll get used to it, and they'll get used to you. | ||
