 I really enjoyed the seaon 3 premiere. The highlights for me would be the 2nd song and the reprise to the first one (first song was good, reprise blew it out of the water though). Oh and the jousting. Oh god, the jousting. It was a good episode, but it wasn't a great episode. Expecting another Return of Harmony was probably too much to hope for, but I REALLY didn't enjoy Sombra as a character. He was very underwhelming as a villain, had no motivation behind his schemes, and very little character at all. That could have been saved had they never actually shown him as a pony, and rather just shown him as the shadow they used most of the time, which could have been nicely used to represent corruption, but as ZK said to me yesterday, "but then how would they have sold the Sombra toys??" so I guess that's that. Well, I'm very optimistic for the rest of the season and looking forward to next week sososososososo much (MAREATHON SQUEEEEE). See you all there. All of you. Or I will haunt your dreams. | ||

I had an idea for an MLP fanfiction (Tbh, I'll almost certainly never write it. I've never written any, but my subconcious comes up with fanfiction ideas whenever I get sufficiently interested in a world, especially a world written for kids that doesn't explore many of the more adult themes that could easily go on in it, like this or Pokemon) and was hoping someone with some knowledge could PM me (Rather than spamming the thread with a Q&A, even a brief one, especially if multiple people answer!). The two things I'm mainly interested in seeing are where I should post it (Fanfiction? Fimfiction? Somewhere else? And is Equestria Daily for all fics, or does it showcase nominated ones?), if I decide to write it, and if my idea's already been done sufficiently well by someone else. If it's feasible, I'll likely start writing it and see how far I get, and if I feel it's worth posting. (For all I know I could run into a massive problem that can't be fixed after two chapters. I've already run into and solved two large problems in the brainstorming phase.) | ||
