I'm really surprised that secret of my excess isn't on anyone else's power rank yet. I think its of the highest quality ep in the show. It's very good but I don't want to see more like it, I feel the same about Lesson Zero. Cartoon wackiness is enjoyable but it can quickly cross into lazy writing, if the show becomes randomness and pony insanity ever week I'll know to stop watching. The hardest episodes to write are the grounded character study ones (Look Before You Sleep, Sisterhooves Social). | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Someponys gonna get kidnapped by some evil guy and the mane 6 are gonna do something about it. I have no idea if Cadence or Shining Armour is gonna be kidnapped. It could go either way, Shining Armour could be kidnapped and act like a little bitch about it while Cadance and the mane 6 fight, or Cadance gets kidnapped and Shining Armour rescues her with the help of the mane 6. Due to his name I assume they're either going to take the feminist/ironic approach and have him act like a pussy in the face of danger with the mane 6 helping him deal with that. I also really hope that they make Princess Cadance the princess of some other pony country or something instead of throwing an alicorn in the Pony mythology for no reason | ||
