Must suck to have an ad come up during a Minho topless scene eh? Go through this thread, if you want older stuff first, then start from beginning of thread. Otherwise start from end of thread if you want more recent stuff.

I'll do that, but if there are so many shows to watch, would it be possible to recommend me some? I don't want to watch the generic ones (especially since I'm still starting out - an amazing show to start things with could really get me hooked)

This whole thread is basically a recommendation thread, and people constantly asking for a personal response about what they should watch is just clutter. Fawkes has given good advice there.

If you want romantic comedy, watch A Gentleman's Dignity and Rooftop Prince. If you want fantasy romance, watch 49 Days. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is also popular. If you want tsunderes, watch Pasta and Coffee House. You'll quickly find out most kdramas are generic and follow some love triangle storyline.

I mean I just watched all 15 eps of Reply 1997 in the past few days without seeing a single ad. Are you sure you have it on? There's many dramas that can be considered passable. Some of us watch it for the cast, some watch it for the plot. It really is your preference on what and why you want to watch k-dramas. The list above I have watched 90% of and can say it is pretty worthwhile to watch them, but it gets repetitive sometimes. You can take the same plot, just change the setting and actors, and you have a different drama.

Runway cop is a comedy which I didn't really like, but Sung Yuri was the eye candy. That barely saved the experience for me. Woochi is a quite interesting comedic wizard/wuxia film. Special effects were bad but it was enjoyable (by bad I mean obvious in places. Actually quite strong). Girl in this was Lim Soojung, a cutie noona who was in I'm sorry, I love you and I'm a cyborg but it's ok.

P.S. Ignore all ratings for drama on that site. The people who register, comment and vote are not human.
