Well, like most K-dramas, the first episode isn't indicative of the rest of the show. While I admit it was a bit ... "off" (can't really stand LSG in such a role), give it a second chance - fast forward over the cheesy parts if you have to - you might just get a knack for it.

First episodes are almost universally bad. Coffee Prince has one of the worst 1st episodes ever, and it turned into one of my favorite shows.

I thought Gumihos was pretty awful, Coffee Prince turned out to be one amazing show, i'd say top 5 all

I personally couldnt finish it cause i had seen the japanese version before which was waaaay better imo. so so goood

I personally recommend everyone to watch rooftop prince and king2hearts both are fucking amazing.

Currently watching Rooftop Prince and I'm hooked. It's really funny omg.

I also agree about the 1st episode thing. Generally I will watch the first two episodes of a drama to see if it's worth continuing. Except Love Rain, I really couldn't get through the first 30 minutes, it just didn't hold my attention T__T everyone says it's good though so I'll have to force myself.

What happened in ep 7 of K2H that made you stop? I've always been anxious for the next episode ever since the second episode of K2H (it started a bit slow for me).
