So the past week I've watched 1 movie every night, the list goes: + Show Spoiler + Day1 The Host Day2 Oldboy Day3 Sympathy for Mr Vengeance Day4 Memories of Murder Day5 The Man From Nowhere Day6 Sympathy for Ms Vengeance Day7 The Chaser Korea Cinema soooo graphic o.o I thought Oldboy was getting on the edge but comparing it latter ones... Piece of cake. I thought Oldboy was a heavy movie to watch, it was not nearly as sick as some of the others. Wow just wow. Other than that I have to say that the directors are top notch. Those that like Quentin Tarantino should try the movies listed above. It has very smart directing. They asks you to keep thinking about the movie. The movies are dark, but smart. Most of the movies are about the problems the society has with the government. It's all very well portrayed and well done. The acting is good, needless to say, most of these movies have won some kind of big award. The settings are realistic and most important, it's believable. Sometimes you'll think to yourself that these things are actually exactly the way they would've happened if it were real. You connect really quickly with the characters and you'll also be on the edge of your seat for the entire duration of the movie. Hoping for the best but that's not always going to happen. If you ask me what I think you should watch, I'd say all. But here is the list of which movie I found hardest to watch. + Show Spoiler + Movie being hardest to watch to easier (recommendable/mainstream): The Chaser > Sympathy for Ms Vengeance > Sympathy for Mr Vengeance > Memories of Murder > Oldboy > The Host > The Man From Nowhere (this movie actually no where near the same genre as the others but it's still a movie I want you to watch). So if you go the other way round you should be able to stop before it gets too graphical or emotional for you. Ms Vengeance is the movie out of the 7 I enjoyed least. It was hard to enjoy as it was slightly confusing for me, couldn't exactly tell where it was going, the character was different from the previous 2parts of the 'so-called-Vengeance-trilogy'. But the movie is well made and the acting of the actress is superb, so damn good. | ||

BoF was so damn terrible, i'm surprised i managed to finish all of it. annoying actress, stale plot, just everything was ugh . honestly at times i forgot what the main conflict was and just wanted to power through the episodes. didn't feel like dropping the drama after watching so much already, might as well grind the last bit of it so i can tell everyone how terrible it was. but to add on that list, you should def watch "History of a Salaryman". a good, refreshing comedy. a nice break from all the romcoms and action dramas. | ||

A drama that I thought was good that I haven't seen mentioned is Marry Me Mary. The girl is decently cute, and the main guy is pretty cool. Genericish, but entertaining. Also the OST is really good. The main guy is one of the main guys from Love Rain (haven't watched love rain yet so I don't know if he's the main guy) also ha ji won is painfully cute in king's lovers | ||
